We originally bought two different models, but kept this one because it was easy open it and close.

This play yard sets up the same way as other play yards I’ve seen, but it has a few extra key features that set it apart from others. The bassinet level is an absolute game changer as I couldn’t imagine having to put a newborn all the way at the bottom. The hanging toys are a neat feature too, and you can use the curved bar to add your own too, if you want (I like to use a cheap piece of thick elastic from the sewing department to tie up toys so baby can pull them to her mouth). The flip up changing shelf is so nice for changing diapers! I love that the edges are slanted up so if baby tried to roll, they would be going uphill. It also flips over to store away so conveniently if you don’t want to keep it up, although you will have to be thoughtful about where you position it if you want to use this feature as it will need to have enough clearance (you can’t have it too close to a wall or a piece of furniture). Pro tip: make sure to throw down an absorbent washable changing pad liner to soak up any potential messes during changes, or you might find yourself having to wash more than one layer (since it is right over where baby sleeps). And the final great thing about this play yard is the storage bag that fully covers the play yard and has enough room for the add on accessories! There’s even enough extra room to throw some sheets and other small supplies you might want to take with you. I’ve seen so many other models that don’t have a bag and your play yard can get so dirty in storage or in moving it around, and they aren’t exactly the easiest to wash! The one slight concern some parents might have is the 30 lb weight limit. My 18 month old is of average weight at around 23 lbs, so she still has a ways to go before being too big for this, but parents of larger babies might want to look for a more heavy duty model, or just accept that they won’t be able to use this for as long as smaller children. Overall, this play yard is a solid choice!
