Great price and easy to install
This is an beautiful and really easy trim to install. I did all four doors on my ford escape with about two feet left over. Cuts easily with standard kitchen shears. Has metal encased on one sid and just pushes on and stays in place. Great price too.

No more gasping when the wind grabs the door
This edge guard, as I told my husband, is the EDGE LORD, heh. It exceeded my expectations in both its install ease and quality. Us Samurai owners join in on the 'Door swings open with a slight breeze' club, and already have had an accident or two with a wall. It even hugs all the tight angles in my door edge, which I was not expecting. This roll was enough to do both front doors with a few inches extra and I promptly ordered another to do my tailgate to match. Looks good and does its job.

Really solid protection!
I got this to protect the edges of my Wrangler doors (since Wrangler doors swing open and don’t have any mechanism to regulate the speed at which they open and close). I didn’t shop around, I just picked this brand and I’m glad I did. The guards have flexible metal in the middle that forms to the edge of the doors. The texture on the rubberized material looks great. I also bought a really cheap roll from an auto body shop and found that it was merely rubber with a bit of sticky adhesive inside (no flexible metal). We will be buying another roll or two of this for our other vehicle!Note: It did take about 30 minutes to do both of my doors. You’ll want a rubber mallet or something to get the guards on really tight and evenly on the whole way around. I also used a flat edged screwdriver to pry apart the opening on the guards, since it was a bit too tight to even get on my doors in some spots. Well worth the time and effort spent!

So far so good
This edge guard is a bit tricky to cut while leaving a clean edge (the spaces between the metal clips is quite small). Yes, you need to be careful that you’re not twisting the rubber while cutting, which will leave more exposed metal than ideal, but I found that by measuring slightly longer than I needed and trimming afterwards gave me a few practice cuts with reasonably clean ends. From there it’s a cinch to install, just apply initially with your finger tips and then press firmly along the full length with the palm of your hand.Nice firm grip, solid protection, and none of that messy adhesive associated with other brands (at least, that I know of!). I was worried about the textured look, but on a dark slate paint it looks great and very seamless. My only complaint is that the exposed metal starts to rust fairly quickly, so I don’t expect this to last forever, but for the money it does the job.

Excellent product, attractive, well made, easy to install.
Good stuff. This is attractive, with a kind of carbon fiber look. It goes on easily and flexibly and follows the curves of the doors quite nicely. As opposed to cheaper products it is not held on by glue. There are a series of metal clips within the rubber that grip the door tightly. To prevent rust, it is possible to use a pliers or Leatherman to pull out the first and last clips so metal is not exposed to water. When the clips are out it is easy to cut the rubber to match the angle of the top or bottom of the doors. Because it’s rubber it can stretch a little if you cut it a bit short. After initially getting it on the doors, use a dowel or the flat back of a scissors to smooth it out. Looks professional when done.

Great to have, works, but could be easier to cut (exposed metal)
I'm fairly happy with this item. It fits along my 2017 Mustang doors, even with an edge that isn't smooth across like many car doors. See my photo's. It takes some force to make it follow the sharp bends, but works, and stays in place (as of now). So I would say it's flexible enough if your doors have sharp bends. There is metal inside. Just make sure you press it against the edge hard enough so it pushes on all the way across the entire edge. Fits snug and doesn't use glue! Perfect. That was the good!I would suggest to put it on, then when you get near where you want it to end, measure it out, eyeball it, do whatever, then cut and apply the rest of it on.The bad:The product out of the box has 2 ends, both showing exposed metal which worries me. What happens when it gets wet? Will this start to rust? This is - 1 star because I would like to have both ends not exposed so I can put those ends starting at the top of the doors, then again it may be unavoidable either way. The consumer shouldn't have to "melt" any ends either. Maybe some can do it themselves but I would never put that on the consumer. Also, I wouldn't want to melt it too much and mess it up then I'd have to cut the strip shorter, or have to remove the entire strip, etc.Cutting this is tough. Maybe I used the wrong tool but I tried a few that typically don't have any issues cutting. For some reason this wouldn't cut clean. See the other picture of the metal at the edge. It's tough to cut with many tools (I'm not talking scissors, don't use those). Once you get the cut in, the metal bends some and becomes slightly messy and not the clean cut you wished for. My passenger door edge guard had more metal exposed than the driver side. I cut it the same was but it just is never the same cut because it fights back. Now I have exposed metal on that side and almost scratched my car. So be extra careful! That's on you. If you don't feel comfortable then look elsewhere, or put it on, mark the cut, and use something else that'll clean cut it if you can. This is -1 star because I was hoping for a product I could put on and cut easy and no exposed metal. I guess I could maybe put some glue or something on the ends to "seal" it.

Easy to use being flexible
This is ideal for consumer unit edges which may be sharp. It’s easy to use and flexible to go around tight corners due to the thickness of the product.
