This aloe vera gel is a household staple for me! It’s incredibly soothing on the skin, especially after a day in the sun, and the consistency is perfect—not too watery and not overly sticky. I have bought the Lily of The Desert Aloe Vera Gel 16 oz (Pack of 2) a number of times, and it's a good product. I know some people drink this, and it doesn't taste bad as I have tasted it before, but I use it primarily for my hair as a pre-poo before washing. It works well in helping me add moisture and detangle my hair as I prepare it for a wash. So for me, it works well, and I would recommend it. If you want this for consumption, I would say just go buy the plant if you can and prepare it yourself—this way, it's fresh.

Amazing skin care staple! Hydrates. Soothes. Healing. Face or body. I'm an esthetician and we used this in beauty college this for people have irritation from waxing etc. My husband & son use this after shaving. I mix it with powdered clay (bentonite, French green or Morrocan red clays are great options) you can a few drops of your favorite essential oil/s to make a hydrating, detoxifying facial mask. Keep it in the fridge! You can put it in a spray bottle for easy application.

This product is being used with other ingredients. So far it's doing what I need it to do.

I personally wouldn't buy this for food consumption. I originally purchased this for my diy foam hand soap. It worked great for my soap recipe because it turns from gel to liquid instantly. I got curious and tried the gel in my hair. My curly winter hair soaked it up. It made finger detangling a breeze, added moisture, added sheen and enhanced my other hair products which I only had to use small amounts of thanks to using the gel in my hair first. Love, love, love this Aloe Vera gel!!!

My husband gets stone after stone. Its not a pleasant thing to watch him suffer when he tries to pass it. My mother-in-law recommended he try Aloe Vera Gel. When the pain starts and he knows he has one moving around he mixes it with tea, juice or anything he wants. It doesn't change the taste of his drink but the gel provides a smooth coating that enters the kidney. The stone is moved along more gently and easily with the coating carrying it along and out. It still hurts to pass a stone don't get me wrong but this in conjunction with some pain med (Ibuprofen or whatever the doctor gave you) will certainly ease the process. The stone may not pass the first time he drinks it ( It moves for a little while but becomes lodged again, for instance) so he waits until the next time he feels it moving and uses the Aloe Vera Gel again. Anyone who has a history of kidney stones knows it can be a long process. He swears by this Gel. It has a side effect of additional benefits to the digestive and immune systems. I would highly recommend it.

This is my first time using Aloe Vera products (for Skin & Hair). This product absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky or greasy. I find only small amounts are needed to get the job done. When I use it in my hair, it leaves a sheen that improves the color of my hair and gently holds my hair in place. I also use it as an "after shave" lotion that gives my skin good color and a soft, moisturized look. I have already ordered more, since my wife has noticed it is good for her also. The price is reasonable, delivery was quick and packaged nicely.

EXCELLENT AS THIS GEL ( AS OPOSED TO THE LIQUID JUICE) FOLLOWS THE DIGESTIVE TRACK... WE FOUND IT THERAPAUTIC FOR MINOR AILMENTS IN THE LONG RUN.

Je me suis brulée sur le visage au 2e degrés. Après avoir cesser de couvrir mes plaies j'ai décidé d'appliquer cet aloe dessus ma peau fragile. deux à trois fois par jour. L'aloe rafraichit et aide la cicatrisation. je sui bien satisfaite car le gel est facile à appliquer, Je préfère le mettre au frigo parce le froid est encore plus agréable sur la peau.

Très bon produit qui aide à ma digestion.
