Brinno - ACC1000P Camera Clamp Plus

Very well made and having the ability to increase the clamping distance is a bonus! Only wish the clamp was a little deeper. We will use it as it works in our application but a deeper one would make it more versatile if clamping to a larger diameter pipe or tree branch.

This is the best small camera mount system that I have seen. Strong, sturdy allows for size adjustments. This can be used for more than just the Brinno camera. It would fit a GoPro or a small DSLR camera..

I like that you can really torque this clamp down. That part doesnt budge. What i dont like it that for an almost $200 clamp the nuts to tighten the arm that holds the camera or your phone are plastic. It comes with a special wrench to tighten them down but the risk of breaking them while trying to tighten or even loosen then bugs me a bit. I will but some metal lugs to test. Other than that though the clamp isnt going anywhere

The metal brackets and the overall item when delivered it shows as it was. It appears as it was described and it is pretty heavy. However, after the FIRST USE as I just purchased this item like a couple of weeks ago so when it arrived and I installed it to use it the washer or the soft corky item at the bottom of the bolt broke apart right after first use. I was kind of disappointed as to how fragile this was. The camera storage case is very heavy and if you do not tighten it very strongly it will not balance at all. Especially if it is windy. BUT when you tighten it, it will break the corky washer-like piece that connects to the stand. I paid more than $300 for this item and for it to come with a cheap low-quality cork washer, I am very disappointed. Would I recommend it, it comes with this type of a cheap washer then NO, over the metal quality is good but the washer is NO NO.
