Good option for getting bees thru winter

I got a great deal on these pollen patties, but bought more than my two hives could eat. I wrapped the unused patties in a freezer bag and store them in my freezer. In the spring, each hive can eat half a patty per week. As flowers become abundant, they move on to other food. The frozen patties keep over winter if you have leftovers.

Good for the price.
So far I really like these pollen Patties. They seem to be maybe either squished or got too hot or both. Kind of stuck together. But for the price I will still keep buying. The bees love them.

Effective Pollen Patties for Bees
These patties are great for boosting brood on hives that have started to struggle and also to get a headstart on the spring build-up. I try to make sure I don't over-offer these because they can attract small hive beetles and ants, if the hive isn't strong. So I cut them to size and make sure to score the paper on both sides with a knife. You also have to seal them in a ziplock or something similar to store them because they can start to mold with moisture from the air.

Effective for overwinter feeding
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good for the bees! I use these (not exclusively) for feeding overwinter.

No bee space so if you're putting between 2 broods expect to squash all the bees on the button of the top brood. Just hope the queen isn't there... Nutrition wise, it's the best. Maybe roller pin it flatter before you set out to your apiary.

Strangely this could not enter canada because it was classified as a food product. This spring it came in without a hitch but that was 10 pounds. This time I had ordered the 40 pounds
