Nice quality, quick delivery, arrived intact
This appears to be a well made tub and very sleek looking for the price point. It arrived in perfect condition and got here in 2 days, which was more reliable that other well known home improvement vendors' processes. I purchased the same tub from another source, it took longer, they didn't deliver as scheduled, and it arrived damaged. That said, I do think people need to consider how far and how many legs these shipments take and there unfortunately is risk of damage along the way. So order well advance of an installation. Amazon came through for me with this one!Update shows pic of installed tub. Installer didn't have any significant issues installing it. Looks beautiful to me with my new wall tiles!

Permanent ring around tub
This tub has a small ledge near the bottom that creates a shadow that looks like a permanent dirty ring that canāt be washed off. It only goes away if you put a bright flashlight right on the area. I waited 20 years for a new tub and I feel so disappointed that it looks permanently dirty. I think American Standard or buildcom should replace it. You can see this ring in other peopleās photos posted here as well.

Major Design Flaw
I did not purchase through Amazon - I did through Lowes. However after spending several hours installing, uninstalling, reinstalling, etc I have given up. The tub has two major design flaws. First, the plywood legs (runners) are taller than the apron on the side. This means that when the tub sits on the runners (assuming you get the mortar between them, there is a 5/8" + gap between the apron and floor. Not good. AmStd tech support says the apron must rest on the floor to avoid cracks over time. They said I could trim down the legs, but come on; on a $760 tub I shouldn't have to do that. Also, the front and back short sides are level yet the lip on the long wall side slightly angles towards the wall, causing water to pool against the wall which would eventually lead to discoloration and mold growth on the tile grout. And yes, this is not an above ground rough in. I had to chisel away concrete in the slab to fit the drain and foot line to the waste, and now I have to chisel it all out again. This would have been a great tub if not for a few design issues.
