Great book! Have used it for years for grades 1-5 when teaching writing, storytelling or just for a good fun read. Every primary teacher should have this book who teaches creative writing.

This is the BEST book!
This is a great story for young children. I read it to my daughter when she was 5 - 6 years old. My daughter chose it as a gift for young family members this past Christmas -- proving it made a lasting impression....

Aunt Isabel teaches storybuilding.
This book was a favorite of my daughter's when she was a child. I bought it for her daughter for Christmas and both of their eyes lit up that they get to share the story of storybuilding.

Children's books
This is one of my all time favorite books. My kids always loved this. It's a great idea for how to have your kids create their own story. The illustration are awesome, the storyline is very creative and the charaters are adorable. I would highly recommend this book. Great for bedtime or anytime. Enjoy!!

entertaining way to tell what good stories consist of
This book is great for teaching story elements. I always start out the year (when we are teaching narratives) reading this book. I talk about all the parts, and we discuss what makes a really good story. It really motivates the students to write and do it correctly. I allow the student to create their own story step-by-step as I read the book back to them a second time around. They love it!
