Just call it what it is...colored plastic wrap
This is definitely a one time use window cling vinyl/plastic. It is very thin....imagine making and working with vinyl only slightly thicker than plastic wrap...clings to itself, rips easily and by the end of it my kids know a couple new cuss words.

Works Great!
I used these for my Christmas decorations in my motorhome. It was a little more expensive than the retail sale, but I wanted it quickly. Looks beautiful It applies best when the window is cold! They are placed on the inside of the windows. It is a THIN window cling vinyl so it does not behave like an Oracal 651. I haven't tried to peel them off for saving for next year.

Great for a stencil!
This works so well! Used this to make monograms and used the "background" on wine bottles. I printed 4 of the monograms and placed them on the bottles. They stuck so we'll to the glass and we're super easy to remove. It did not allow any of the etching cream to bleed under. After 10 minutes removed and washed them. Dried and reused them on 28 bottles total, so around 9 times each and they are still in perfect condition.

Window clinging any intricate designs is an exercise in futility
The concept is simple, but if you have any fine lines of a decal that you want to transfer to a window, good luck getting it to unstick itself from the transfer tape and adhere to the window or other flat surface. Larger decals are probably not a problem, as you can just peel them off the Cricut cutting pad with your fingers and just slap them on whatever. If there are little lines or details (like a fishing rod), you risk ripping the vinyl or altering the placement. Normally, using transfer tape or backing takes care of that problem, but the "cling" of the vinyl isn't enough to overcome the "stick" of the transfer tape. As long as your project is simple and big, the cling may work. Otherwise, I'd recommend the self-adhesive, sticky vinyl instead.

Stay away if doing intricate cuts
Use Kate's Kraft window cling instead of this. I have found when doing intricate work, Cricuts brand tears easily
