These pants are great for running outdoors in winter because the material is relatively dense and thick. They are about twice as thick as the Baleaf fleece lined leggings, if you are familiar with those. The size Medium is equivalent to approx. size 8 in U.S. sizing. I have a 32" inseam and these pants reach the top of my feet. I'm not using them for downhill skiing but I would say they are not warm enough for skiing in very cold conditions, and they're better for a mild winter day. However, for a cold winter run, they are great. The waist is stretchy, and the only thing I plan to add is a bit of elastic inside the waistband to snug it up more. Highly recommended for outdoor running in winter.

The front panels have thick zippers which don't allow the pants to lay flatamd it looks cheap. Also the elastic on the inside of the pants is only stitched down on one side so it flips up. I purchased a medium, It fits fine in the legs and inseam, waist was too loose. I am 5'9" 155 lbs and usually wear an 8, sometimes a 10 if things a cut on the small side. If your not particular about things I mentioned these might work. Again, good for the price, I just know just know myself and those two things would bug me

I bought these pants in a medium so I could snowshoe. I'm 5' 1" and 153. These pants stretch around my middle enough to just snap shut. They are about 5 inches to long, but can be folded up or heemed. I'm going to say though they stretch to fit, they are a bit too snug for me. I should have ordered a large.The best part about these pants is that the legs are small enough to fit and overall they are very attractive. I think I'll fit in a large. In addition, they are fleece lined and will be warm enough for me to use without long johns underneath while I'm active.I think if I were about 145 at my height, these would be perfect.

These are NOT ski pants by any stretch of the imagination- they are not waterproof, windproof or even water resistant. That being said- I actually am keeping these because they are very warm, flattering leggings that can pass as business casual LOL I know this must sound absurd but they have a great shape and look like skinny work pants. They are fleece lined and very , very comfortable. They would be great for any *DRY* outdoor activity too. I like them, but they are not ski pants.

If item had arrived fir my vacation and ai could have worn them i would have given them a five.

I was really hoping for a little bit more water resistance as these pants are cute, but the water definitely leaked through and made that spot feel cold

Waterproof and warm. Perfect for the snow. I sat down in the snow and didn't feel the cold. These will last me a long time.

I ordered these for skiing, but after trying them on I realized they are much too thin to keep warm. These may be good for hiking or walking in the snow, but not snow contact activities!

Very nice material and the inner Fleece is very warm. Not entirely water repellent though, especially for skiing. The elastic waist band is very flexible, so the L could fit an AU14-16. The elastic leaves marks on your skin though as are ridged. A big negative is the seam down the front, as means they cannot be used for skiing and tucked into a ski boot. Winter pants not ski pants.
