IBDIbd 5 Second Brush-on Gel Resin - Net Wt. 0.20 oz.

I'm reordering this. I have very thin nails and never can grow them out naturally. Have used silk and fiberglass wraps, acrylics, gels, tips and full nails, self-applied and salon applied. Hate the full nails of any kind because they look pretty fake and look bad when they grow out at the cuticle. When I have to get the whole thing off I'd end up taking up layers of my nail. With all of these methods,eventually I would have so much nail damage I'd have to stop wearing anything for about 6 months to regrow healthy nails. Prefer to do my own because that way I can repair one when I need to without bothering to go to a salon.Here's how it works for me: I do a French nail by painting the tip with Sally Hanson X treme Hard as Nail White, two coats or even 3. Of course, it is difficult to get a good moon, but I'm getting better at this all the time. I correct errors with dipping the pointed tip thingys like a Q-tip into polish remover and carefully correct the moon. Let dry (This may take 10 minutes or so) and then apply this IBD resin and use the ASP resin activator spray (to avoid waiting 20 minutes for this to dry). Then I use Sally Hanson Miracle GEL top coat over the whole nail, two coats. This is enough to give them strength and I'm able to wear them medium long-- past my fingertips. And, the best thing is that they end up thinner than acrylic or gel nails, so more natural looking. Before they grew out to a good length I used Nail Bliss French Wrap Plus, Thick tips to extend the nail a little. Occasionally, I still use one of these if a nail splits or breaks. Now, I don't do a whole set at once. I just redo each nail as needed by soaking in acetone remover and wiping with a paper towel to remove the old stuff, then following the steps above. Some last 2 weeks, some don't. Some days I will redo a nail or two, sometimes none. Works for me.I have used color polish on the whole nails but they don't look as long that way, so I end up going back to the French look. Now and then I'll do an accent nail by polish the tip with gold or a bright color.FYI, I see that ASP has a gel and some say that it is thicker than this product, but I'm staying with this. On nails that need more strength/thicknesses I can use two coats of this and it works out fine.

I boutht this recently to use with a nail repair kit after breaking my nail. I read the glue that came with the kit wasn't the greatest, and it was recommended to use another. I saw this while looking for a nail glue as super glue never held for me longer than a day, purchased it, and used it with the kit I bought. While it says it dries in 5 seconds, it didn't for me, however, I am not saying don't buy this product. The hold I get using this makes the longer wait worth it. The glue has been holding the nail together, and works perfectly with the nail repair powder I use, and I have had the best results! I would recommend this product without doubt, for pros or to use with nail repair powder kits. It is the best nail gllue I've used, and does a far better job than super glue, or other glues I've used. I've had no problems with the lid sealing as I don't take the excess glue off using the sides, and I don't put the lid back on too tight. I love this glue and would purchase it again!

I was hoping for something easy to use, to provide some more strength to my growing nicely (thanks biotin) natural nails. I garden and bake a lot, and I do wear gloves in the garden, which highlighted my most annoying problem with this product. It absolutely does not give! There is NO flexing to your nails at all once the product is applied. I attributed the rougher texture to my innability to apply nail polish correctly (I'm an old hippie chick. Nails weren't my life's blood!), but that didn't matter until I went to the garden. This stuff cracked so badly (two coats) that I thought that I'd immediately broken a couple of nails!There was no comfortable living with the cracks either, in that they caught on everything as a chipped nail would. So, two days into it, I decided to remove it all. I've read the reviews and I read my bottle of remover, and dipped and chipped and filed, and I'm pretty much of the notion that this stuff will have to grow out! Crazy glue in a bottle? Seems likely!Skip to a couple of weeks later, and I am so very disgusted with myself for buying this stuff! It has ruined my nails! First it cracked, then it wouldn't come off, and now every nail that I had so proudly grown has broken off (or cracked on the side and had to be removed) because this formula has caused my nails to be even thinner and weaker than before. I don't understand it at all, but I'm writing this to warn others. If you're thinking of strengthening your nails, and you actually USE your hands to do things that might require some flexibility to your fingernails, then this is probably NOT the product to choose!

Love it gor rhinestones, too coat doesnt work for me but with this gems stay on easy for a full week
