Yes okay but you might be subpoenaed under the name Jimmy and that is nearly impossible to adjudicate or expunge later depending on the state so be forewarned.

Would it work for opening Pistachio nuts?

For the totally closed nuts use " Channellock 424 4.5-Inch Straight Jaw Tongue and Groove Pliers | Pocket Size Plier " if you have elderly teeth like mine and can no longer just bit them.

Will it work on opening kindle fire tablets?

The tool is designed to allow you to separate the 2 parts of electronic devices to allow you to gain access. Go to the IFIXIT website and search for your model kindle to see the process to opening the device properly. They are indispensable with the information on their website for various electronic devices and how to complete repairs and estimating how skilled you should be to have the best chance of success. It's why I try to buy their products (because they are designed specifically for these tasks.)

Is this iFixit's answer to the iSeasamo (i.e. do they expect it to be a viable replacement)?

I have not used that tool, but use the iFixit tool every day to pop open the bottom covers on laptops. This tool's blade is very thin to fit easily in between the chassis and the cover.
