Lego 76014 Superheroes Spider-Trike vs. Electro

Thumbs up from a 9 year old. Good price and of course the gift of legos is an investment in the future of the child....great for imagination, hand and eye coordination as well as following instructions and thinking through the design in your head to make new creations.....except that they are borderline lethal weapons when lying in ambush on the carpet of a dark room for your bare foot....this is a child approved great toy.

This is a great little set. My son had it on his wish list for a long time because of the purple an blue "lightning bolt" pieces. The little spider vehicle is great. Fun build and good value. Love Lego and great amazon selection. Highly recommended. Five stars

To preface this, I only bought this for the Electro mini. More specifically, his arms. According to inventory sites, he is literally the first minifigure to have a transparent right arm. Some other figures (mainly some of the Legends of Chima animals) have the left arm, and only the left.The details on the minis are actually pretty good, reflecting the looks of the comics nicely.The builds are... lackluster. The platform Electro rides on is simple, and the "trike" is pretty boring. But for the price that is paid, even at a discontinued price, the parts are still a nice addition to a collection.

Purchased this for my nephew's 5th birthday. We built it together in around 20 minutes. Small enough and easy enough for most to do for the younger age spectrum on the box with a little guidance and it doesn't take too long for their shorter attention spans. We has a great time building this together!

Very nice set for the money. My four year old grandson loved it on top of his birthday cake. Made a nice addition to his super hero lego collection.

I did not check the size of the item but expected a large kit for $54. What I got way a 5"x5" box with a small vehicle and a person.

While only a small build (just 70 pieces to the set), it is still well worth buying just for the Electro mini-figure, which is based off the Ultimate series comics. Both mini-figure look just like the characters in the Lego Marvel Superheroes video game.

This set is a cool set, in that you get two cool minifigures. I just have an issue with the price of this set. The main reason to get this set is to get Electro. The Spiderman minifigure is in many sets and polybags already. The spider-trike is not a great build. I give this set 3 stars only because of the price.
