Loved this kick stand up until the connector broke. Now the kick stand won't stay in place on the bike and falls over. Looking for a replacement unless I can fix it. The metal appears extremely grainy almost like coars sandpaper. Worked great for about a month

I like to keep my bike as light as possible but can not stand my bike to fall or to be leaning against something that it may fall and scratch. I have 3 Trek Fuels and keep them clean and scratch free. So I went for a kick stand. This one is good with plastic inserts that touch the actual bike, so I wrapped tape around the frame so the finish would not get damaged. The mechanism is sturdy and the adjustment for height is also good. I lubed the machine screws with ceramic grease before they were fitted.Like I stated, I am a traditional bike owner and do not like kick stands - they add to the overall weight however I've had my bikes fall leaning on a wall or object - never again. Will be looking for a dual stand for a bike I am converting into a mid drive.I will update you on the ware/performance on this kickstand. I purchased 2 now will purchase another.

When I mounted this on my Diamondback el oso fat tire bike, I needed to try mounting it in several different locations along the frame supporting the rear axle. I also added additional rubber strips to tighten the mount. When up it may rub against my disk brake rotar. When down it still tends to slip on the frame when in use resulting in the bike possibly tipping over.Well constructed overall, but it may not work on every bike.Working around the brake cable that also runs along the frame has been an issue. Now, I have the stand wrapping around the cable. I also had the cable outside the stand mount. Either way it still seems loose around the frame.

A new kick stand (oem) for my grand daughters electric motorcycle (Osett 24) was over a hundred dollars !Found this and figured I could buy 10 for the price of one if it worked .It works as well as OEM and if it brakes , oh darn , I'll get another one .

I was was told by a bike store that I couldn't put a kick stand on a BMX bike. This one worked fine.

This kickstand is exactly what I needed! I am on the petite side at only 5' tall, and my bicycle is rather 'short' (for lack of a better word), so the adjustability on this product is ideal! I also have to mention that the mechanism is incredibly smooth! I have problems with chronic foot pain and kickstands can be notoriously 'sticky' or difficult to engage or disengage, but this kickstand changes position with ease....yet stays firmly wherever it is placed! I am very happy with this purchase. :)

Seems well-built. I disagree about the statement that it fits a 20" bike. I had to cut 2 inches off the inside end of the sliding lower peg to make it work on my kid's 20" Spawn Cycles Savage (and also ditch the plastic mounting inserts, instead wrapping several layers of electrical tape around the frame prior to installation).
