Zinsser WaterTite Smooth White Mold Killing Primer for All Surfaces 1 qt. - Case of: 1

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Because Zinsser has a phenomenal reputation for quality. Still I was nervous that after all the work in restoring my water fountain, that it might not hold up to constant water in the fountain's boles. I colorized the Watertite to a stone color seen in Italy, and the Zinsser is holding up like there is no water on it. Really impressive. Remember, if you want good protection from water, don't spread it on too thin by brushing it out too much. Be generous, but not so much it runs. Give it two to three coats. Simply be sure you can't see the color of the fountain material through the Zinsser. Thats how you know it has really covered. NOT SURE?...give it another coat. Pros use a depth gauge, but they are under contract for a certain thickness...you're not! If you think it's thin...give it another coat. I'm an X Pro...so I covered it in two coats and it looks and works great.

Made the water turn white which is probably toxic to the birds

The inside of a concrete birdbath was getting increasingly difficult to keep clean. This is no longer the case--and there is no longer any scrubbing involved!

Used it to repair/cover an unsightly tub, and I'm very happy with the results! I applied 5 coats (one coat every 2 hours). I allowed 72 hours of drying before using the tub.
