These tongs are very lightweight. They can be used for cooking and eating.

These things are absolutely perfect for smaller food items on the grill. I found they were a little flimsy for larger steaks or chicken. However, no complain complaints. I think that I would make them at least 3 to 4 inches longer if I were the manufacturer and designer. Perhaps even a little more fortified.
