Weleda Baby Body Lotion, Calendula, 6.8 fl. oz.

I've been using this body lotion for over a decade and I have very dry sensitive skin, especially in the winter. It's the only lotion I've tried that works for a full day and isn't really heavy, greasy, or chock full of chemicals, and I've tried so many. It doesn't dry out my skin like lotions with palm and coconut oil or coco butter and has a light marigold scent. If you apply after showering when skin is damp, it goes on thin and a little greasy at first, but then it soaks right in. I was hoping Weleda's other lotions, especially the Marshmallow lotion for sensitive skin, would be as good as this, but for me, none of them work like this one. I've also wondered whether they have changed the formula a little bit over time, because it doesn't seem as high quality as it used to be, but that might just be me.

This is not just for babies. I use it regularly after a shower or when my skin feels dry. It is safe- no bad ingredients - and works well. I've used it for years.

This is my second baby and still I choose the Weleda caléndula products because of the great smell, quality and that it’s not a greasy cream. I also use the oil for diaper changing, and it works great, it makes it a lot easier to clean my baby’s bump and leaves a protecting layer on his skin.

Worked great and smells good. Not overpowering but very fresh and natural. My little dude had some dry irritated skin and putting this on every few days completely cleared it up. Doesn't take much, a little goes a long way. The bottle seems to last for quite a while.

I used this on my children when they were young. When I began to get itchy dry skin this winter, i decided to try this on myself (age 45). Love it! smooth and cool, and skin is great.

I have tried every lotion under the sun for my extremely dry, sensitive skin and my skin was always dry again within a couple hours. I bought this looking for a natural product for my newborn and it has been a miracle worker, not only has it completely gotten rid of all her dry spots but it leaves my skin moisturized and even a little glowy. I tried Earth Mama and Cetaphil calendula baby lotion (they were less expensive) and neither of them even come close, my daughter's dry spots started to come back after switching so I went right back to Weleda and I'll never switch again.

Not sure why, but this body lotion caused my infant to break out in a rash. I tested it again a week later after the rash disappeared to make sure it was this product and not something else. She broke out in a rash again. There must be a particular ingredient that just doesn't jive with her skin.I also purchased the Weleda Calendula Baby Body Wash & Shampoo and that doesn't cause a skin reaction with her at all, so we're still happily using it at bathtime. So, this product is now my new facial moisturizer. It does a really good job keeping my skin hydrated during the really dry winter months where I live. That's difficult to find in a product, especially a natural one.The scent isn't unpleasant, it's just different. I must not know what calendula flowers smell like as I wasn't sure what to expect.Overall, I would recommend this product, but as a precaution, do a spot test on your baby's skin and wait a day before fully applying it in case there's a reaction.

I bought this for my granddaughter when I couldn't find Weleda's Baby Mallow. She has eczema, and it was the only lotion that works for her. I'm really pleased with the Calendula version. It works just as well on her skin. The scent isn't as pleasing as the Mallow version, but it goes away quickly.
