I love this wand. It’s high quality and well worth the money.I’ve tried to buy those cheap, illuminating wands on eBay. Those have a very small light on the end. It’s very difficult to replace their batteries and it takes 6-8 weeks for them to arrive. The wand itself feels a bit fragile. And they are easily broken when dropped.This wand by Nobel is sturdy, the batteries are easy to put in and take out, and the light at the end of the wand is powerful! I felt more comfortable letting my children carry the Nobel wands because the light was clearly visable to cars and other pedestrians. The Noble wands, like this Newt Scamander wand, are made of high quality material and will last for years to come...as long as the kids don’t use them like light sabers.

I love these motion activated torches, which is effectively what they are. I have 3 now. Harry Potter's, Hermoine's and now I have Newt's. They are all working fine.I find it so useful to just keep by my bedside and if I want something in the middle of the night, or answer the phone etc, instead of struggling to switch on the main bedroom light (which can be blinding), I reach for the wand and flick and immediate light, as bright or dim as you need. Perfect. And fun.During Trick or Treat evening, when the littlest children knock at my door, they are amazed by the simple wonder of the light that it creates, and When I brighten it and dim it, they are even more amazed. 'Help Keep the Magic alive'.

I have enjoyed this wand. It comes on a bit easily but goes off on it's own if I don't notice. Lately I have been using it during power outages. It is bright enough to light my way around the house and even out to the chicken coop.
