My dog loves this toy. He just got a new one because he wouldn't let me put the old one in the washer. Now he has two balls plus the 2' HuggleHounds fleece bone. When my daughter comes over and brings her Shitzu he grabs both balls and his bone and piles them up and holds them up between his paws and in his mouth. He is a yellow lab by the way, very spoiled and very possessive.

The "fur" on this comes out way too easy...my dog created bald spots within 10 minutes. I was so hoping this would be sturdier than the cheap "Sherpa" soccer balls I'd gotten from the local pet store...but those tended to last forever with just the occasional application of a needle and thread. The dog never pulled at the Sherpa.Fail. He's not allowed to keep toys that he can swallow in pieces except under strict supervision. Balls don't normally fall into this category.

Great for my dog who has to shake the hell out of things in his jaws. He has hurt himself and me doing that with other toys. But not with this one. It is big & soft & safe. He can shake it all he wants.
