Very nice pack for day trips, light over nights and the range. The material is thick and strong. The stitching is very good, excellent stitching and comfortable strong straps. Highly recommend for big out, range or hunting. Also the detachable belt bag makes a great summit pack for day trips up the hill. I am happy I bought this.

Haveing traveled muth the last ten years, I often find myself liveing out of a backpack. I have tried; kelty, osprey,mountin hardware, and they've all failed. Giveing me back injuries, broken zippers and straps, the constant unpacking and repacking of toploaders, the water wicking up from the ground soaking your pack, the heavy rain doing the same,stuff u have strapped to it falling off when u open the compartments. IM HERE TO TELL YOU THIS PACK FIXES ALL OF THAT. These stitches will never bust. The straps create a perfect harness that holds all the weight right where you want it. Up against your back. The zippers are water tight. As is the fabric. Which is also rock proof. The bottom has a leather patch to prevent wicking. And the outer compartments and Mollie webbing give me more options for add on storage than I need,but always want. In short I had a 70 leater osprey that could barley carry 20lbs, and soaked like a sponge. It was $300 This bag is half the price, worth 4 times the money and I can carry a full 60lbs. 5 miles. And barley feel it in my shoulders. THIS PACK IS PERFECT FOR, a day bag or weekend backpack for; boyscots, teenagers, women, and short men. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE, no ajustable harness size. It's one size fits all but it's a great general size. Fits my hips perfectly and my t shirt size is a men's large long.

I have used the Maxpedition Gyrfalcon Backpack black since Aug 23, 2017 and have had no issues. I purchased some add-ons (side pouches) and they too fit well. I use this backpack as a three-day pack. Personally, I can put one pair of pants, three T-shirts, three work shirts, three underwear, two pairs of socks, a watch cap, an autumn jacket--all within the first compartment. Without straining the zipper or in other words, over-stuffing. The second compartment I place my work clipboard -- HEIGHT: 12.75"; WIDTH: 2"; DEPTH: 9.75" -- It fits perfectly--I was surprised! The top outer pouch I typically place toiletry items. The middle outer pouch is where I keep some entertainment items, my e-reader and tablet (power cables too). Best fit, but also seems the safest location. The bottom outer pouch is actually two sewn together. I guess if I had to complain, it would be with this. When the middle pouch is full it becomes difficult to get at the back lower pouch. I keep my "Sovereign-Gear Refillable Leather Journal" in the outer lower pouch. I rarely use the back pouch. And even though I know I can remove "the pouch." Which works as a HUGE fanny pack. All I can say is that I keep it together in-case, for as I stated, two pouches sewn together is too large for me as a fanny pack. I use this backpack for everything: work and backpacking. And, just in case I may require a "bugout" event is why I purchased the side pouches (for food and water add-ons when required). The typical maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are, 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches. This backpack is, 10.5 x 9.8 x 21.5 inches. I enjoy this backpack. It is designed well. Personally, I fail to find the perfect backpack, but this one comes close to it with design, add-on options, and price.

This bag is great. Holds much more than I’d planned. I was used to very light bags like the Falcon II. The removable bag works great as a meal prep pack on the belt. After removing that bonus pack I was able to stash a Large Sea to Summit dry cinch in that area. The hydration pocket in the back is great. My 3L Stowaway fits just fine. I removed the inner plastic frame in the very back of the pack -to stash meals. The webbing all over makes add ons as easy as pie. It’s easy to overpack this so keep an eye on your weight. Very durable. Very comfortable. Highly recommended. I have EVERYTHING in my bag.

I love this pack. I have done my fair share of backwoods hiking. First and foremost the pack is built well with lots compartments. It rides comfortably and displaces weight well. I would say this pack is best suited for 3-4 day hikes. My pack loaded runs about 30 pounds. I am sure it could handle more weight, but don't kid yourself into thinking this pack is designed to carry 80lbs+, because it isn't. If you are looking for a quality bag for short trips, this should work for you.

Loved the size of this backpack, Perfect for the big guy. Width perfect to add a Maxpedition water bottle pouch on each side. Height perfect for hip pad to rest on hips with comfort. Plenty of inside storage space. Made with Maxpeditions attention to detail and quality. If you want a get home bag or a bug out bag here it is. I now have four, two for the cars and two to keep one for locker at work and one in the house. Prepared for any weather or man made emergency. Camping too.

Great pack with a ton of options for storing things. I did have to take the lower pack off so I could fir my sleep system on the bottom, but it was a great comfortable pack on my 3 day hiking trip. We went through some rugged territory and it felt like it fit perfectly on my back. No rub burns on the shoulders and nothing flew off during the trip. It was a bit pricey, but I feel like its worth it for a good pack these days.

Overall bag size and quality is good. What i do not like is that when large compartments are loaded, outside pockets are affected, bulge inward from main compartments so loading them is limited. But all maxpedition bags do this. Internal frame holds structure very well. I use as a get home bag and due to being limited on outside compartments, had to think hard on how to load and what to carry. Honestly a large backpack/bookbag would probably be better for a lot of gear, just without internal frame.

Ich hatte jetzt über 10 Jahre einen 25 Liter Rucksack der Firma. (Das Teil hält immernoch) Aufgrund eines Unfalls habe ich jetzt aber Rückenprobleme und brauchte für Hochpasstouren auch einen größeren Rucksack. Auf Grund des Rücken legte ich werd auf eine Rückenplatte. Und das dies der einzige der Firma ist habe ich ihn mir geholt. Bin noch nicht ganz fitt gewesen und hatte immernoch Rückenprobleme. zwei Tagestour von 1400m auf 3200m. ich hatte nichts, trotz der Belastungen und 18 kg auf dem Rücken. Der Rucksack hat alles abgefangen und ausgeglichen. Pro - Robustheit - Fächervielfallt - Trinkblasenhalterung - Modular erweiterbar - Abnehmbare Taschen und Hüftgurt - Bewegungsfreiheit nach hinten durch schmalen schnitt - Feste Rückenplatte - etc etc etc absolute Kaufempfelung

Como todos los productos de la marca es de muy buena calidad, el tema con esta mochila es que el interior de todos sus bolsos es rectangular y no se aprovecha mucho el espacio para objetos cilíndricos como equipo de cocina. Si todo lo que Cargas es rectangular y no es muy abultado es muy buena, si no la verdad no se aprovecha tanto.
