Q: Why can’t you use this on matte wheels

Signature Series Wheel Cleaner is too powerful for matte wheels.

Q: Can this be used with polished finished wheels?

Hi! This kit is safe for all wheels except matte. Diablo Gel can be dilute 3:1 in a spray bottle. We recommend using both Signature Wheel Cleaner and Diablo Gel at the same time for more cleaning power. After the wheels are clean apply a thin layer of Max Coat Wheel Guard to protect your wheels from brake dust. Applying Max Coat Wheel Guard will make it easier to clean your wheels in the future. Also the Kit comes with VRP which is a water base dressing that can be used on the interior vinyl and plastics as well as your tires. VRP will deliver a high shine but it will be dry to the touch and it will not splatter everywhere when you drive away.

Yes, that is correct. Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel & Rim Cleaner is pH-balanced, gentle, and perfect for cleaning any type of shiny wheel finish on any vehicle.
