This makes a great table accent lamp for a dining table, TV night, cocktail out on the balcony. It's rugged, comfortable, fits nicely in the hand, pleasant and fun to operate… and super cute if you're into heavy plastics and European minimalism style as an aesthetic. The pull chain and red logo tag to turn the lamp dimmer and on-off switch is a real pleasure to operate, it give the perfect click at the perfect time, you just want to keep turning it on and off like a little kid. The size is midway between a real table lamp and a mini lamp, and like most rechargeables the lighting is more for show, or maybe finding the food on your plate, than for anything serious like work or reading. It won't light up a room just so you know. I just bought one due to cost and avoiding clutter, but for a yard or room you might want two or three. I like it so much it's one of the few things I leave out on my countertop even when I put everything else in the cabinet.
