Works great for doggy run in winter!
Can’t get my gas snowblower in the backyard and wanted something else besides a snow shovel to keep a space open for my doggy. This little machine works great for that purpose! As suggested by another reviewer, I also ordered a 24v replacement battery. Upon arrival, I noticed that the battery was quite a bit heavier than the original and I started to get doubts if the higher voltage wouldn’t wear out the motor of this little machine before its time. So I returned it and ordered the SuperHandy 2Ah 20V DC 36 Watt battery instead (suggested by another reviewer). Looks and works exactly the same as the original. An added benefit: my newly adopted doggy came from a warm area and is new to snow - not fond of it (yet) to go out in the cold to do her business. (I set up a an indoor fake grass doggy toilet for her as well to be on the safe side.) When she hears this little snow thrower she wants to chase it and bolts outside (just have to be careful not to let her get in front of it where the moving parts are.) Once outside, she seems to figure it’s quite as well to do her business right there. Sooo, am verrry happy with this purchase!.

Perfect for light snow
I’m a single older woman, so I was thrilled to find an electric shovel that’s easy to use to remove snow. It’s light weight and does blow light snow a good distance so I don’t need to shovel. In heavier snow, it doesn’t work as well and frequently stops if there is too much snow to blow . It’s easy to charge and doesn’t take up much space when I store it.

Works well, even on a 6" wet heavy snow!
Being older, my wife and I have been looking for ways to ease the burden of snow shoveling. We recently returned to our home in a Northern state after having lived in the south for 20 years, and had forgotten the joys of winter snow removal, particularly at an advanced age. We have been shoveling, and we have an electric snow blower we purchased from Amazon a couple of years ago, but we wished for some medium ground for those "in between snows" We saw someone with an electric shovel on a local TV news broadcast, and thought it might be an answer for us. Ironically, the delivery folks were delayed a day, so we didn't get it until an hour or so after we had cleared 6" of snow off our walks and driveway in a rather minimal way. The shovel assembled in just a few minutes - I greatly appreciated the comments in the product description about removing the plastic cap off the electrical contacts and how to lengthen the pole. The battery was fully charged when it was delivered, so in a matter of minutes I was able to try it out on some of the unshoveled areas. I was impressed! I cut through some of the chunks of shoveled snow, cleared down to pavement and was quite easy to use. I think this is going to be a great addition to our snow removal arsenal!

Doesn’t not work or hold battery charge
Agreed this is worthless..battery only lasts for 10-15 minutes from full charge and doesn’t work well at all in more than 2 inches..bought this for back deck and walk..wish I would have known this before I purchased

Mini snow thrower
I purchased this snow thrower to prevent injuries while shoveling.(Snow/sleet gets heavy here) It did just that! It was easy to use with minimal effort. Set up and charging the battery was a no brainer. Charging time took a few hours, after the green light stopped flashing, it was fully charged. It only comes with one battery pack and the battery does dies relatively quickly, about a good 20ish minutes. I checked to see if the company sells an extra battery pack and they do, at the same price as another snow thrower...smh. I did find another battery pack that's cheaper but it's from a different brand. Hopefully it'll fit. I'll update when I test it out. I gave it 3 stars mainly because of the battery life and you have to hold the trigger while pushing the snow thrower. My hand was a bit tired after the first round of using the machine. *Update; I found an extra battery pack that fits and has a great battery life, fir $50 bucks opposed to purchasing a new thrower. Best Gadget I’ve Ever Purchased
I do not own or have a desire to own an actual “grown up” snow blower. However, shoveling is way too much for me, due to health issues. I bought this at the end of last Winter on a great deal, and it has sat in the box since then. We had a huge storm this week, with 3-4 bouts of snow and this thing can handle anything. It went right through thick, wet slushy snow AND a round of the light, fluffy stuff. It cut down the pavement, even when the snow was 5-7” deep. It throws pretty darn far and did the job in less than 30 minutes. Battery has been fine. I ran it down once, but have a long, double-wide driveway, so I’m very impressed that I only had to hand scoop about the last 5 feet! This is worth the money, and worth the time it saves you.

Does Small Jobs
I like that using the shovel makes clearing my walks and steps easier and faster than a regular shovel. I’ve used it a few times now and am glad I bought it. It’s very lightweight and it handled our 4 inches of snow with no problems. This was fresh snow. It will not handle ice which is what I expected. We have a large snow thrower which we use for clearing the driveway and I would not us this for that. It would be too labor intensive. There are a few cons as others have mentioned. The battery charge doesn’t last long, 15-20 minutes so I strongly suggest buying the second battery. My husband had to figure out how to expand the handle and connect the top and bottom. The instructions were not clear at all. Otherwise a good product.

Je l’aime beaucoup mais ce que je déplore le plus c’est la livraison qui a été très longe au moins 20 jours

Easy to assemble. Works good in light snow but runs out of battery with a bit heavier wet snow. Safety switch is a problem with that it doesn't stay engaged once you squeeze the trigger. Always have to keep depressing it to use the blower in non dangerous use.

I love how easy it is to use but not impressed that it only has one battery and no links to buy spare batteries. I have only gotten to try it on a small patch of snow because it took so long to get here that all my snow is melting away so not sure how long it will hold a charge, the instructions say 20 mins but I’ve seen some reviews say it goes longer and sometimes not long enough on a charge. I do love how far it can throw snow. Definitely a nice back up for when my old snowblower breaks down again lol.

Facile a utiliser. Temps d'utilisation un peu court et recharge très longue.

I tested this machine on 2 occasions and the results were the same. -The battery will not give you more than 20 min of operation. -It takes like 3 to 4 hours to charge. I would suggest making this machine compatible with batteries used by DeWalt.
