The PowerNet 7X7 PRO Baseball and Softball Practice Hitting Net is an advanced training tool for elite athletes. Our system stands 7 feet (H) and 7 feet (W) creating a large backstop for a variety of practice drills including pitching, soft-toss, and tee work. The bow frame is designed to flex with each swing -- catching both baseballs and softballs in its extra wide mouth. The PowerNet 7X7 PRO Net is built with a Pro-Grade base keeping it firmly planted, hit after hit. The one-piece frame makes setup a snap. Each system is completely portable and perfect for in-home or on the field training. Tee, ball caddy and other accessories sold separately.

Quality and Affordable
During the pandemic, I was kicked off a ball field I used to hit softballs off the tee, so I needed an alternative. I bought a cheaper hitting net and it did its job for a month or two. The cheaper net busted on me and the parts were breaking.I enjoyed using a net for its convenience and saved energy chasing balls, so I searched for a better, sturdier net. Bownet seemed like the solution, but it was too expensive for me. I came upon Powernet Pro, and I liked the price. Upon opening the box and feeling the net, I knew the quality was WAY better than the cheap net I initially bought. Also, the base is much more sturdy, I do not need to place weights to keep it in place like with the cheaper net.Spend the extra $20- $30 and get yourself an affordable and quality training net.

Not a bad product but could use improvement
The Velcro that the company uses to secure the bottom of the net around the frame is low-quality Velcro. It works but it pulled loose when I hit a baseball low against the net. The carry case is pathetic. Very low quality zipper and the bag already had a hole in it after day one. The net material is a very soft shoelace-type netting. I was also hoping for a slightly stiffer batting cage style net. Set up is really easy. The first time I set it up I hit about 150 baseballs into it and other than the problems listed above it did what it was supposed to. Overall I am satisfied.

It's A Hit!
My son being an only child (and me not always being able to play ball) really needed something easy to set up and big enough to cover a large area so he could practice. This net fits all our needs. It was super easy to assemble and is very large and sturdy. It handles power hitting quite well and is great as a back-up "safety" net for when we toss the ball around and not wanting it to go down the culvert. I plan on purchasing another in the near future. Not because this has become damaged, simply to cover more ground.

One piece frame is all I need to say
I looked at all different Versions of hitting nets & this is the one you need to buy for ONE reason....the one piece metal frame. The fact that it has a one piece frame allows for sturdier netting. Most videos the net would wobble when people would hit into it, this one stays still. Also look at other videos, most videos have a weight or “something” latex on the footing or frame and they still wobble.

Sturdy and convenient!
We use this for travel ball -- so convenient to have just a little less to assemble every time. Coaches were thrilled with this net, great improvement over the old style! Feels so much more solid for them to hit into.

Big Disappointment with Carry Bag
The one piece metal frame has sharp edges and will rip the carry bag within a few sessions. This is a HUGE problem because everything falls out of the bag and there are no replacement bags, and, even if there were, they would cost way too much, because the one piece frame system is heavy with sharp edges and will rip most any bag fast. This is an excellent net, but it is not ULTRA PORTABLE like the ad says.

Good Value
Bought this less than a year ago with moderate use. Bag is pathetic and barely holds the frame causing the zipper to break early on and small tears in bottom. The Velcro has held up with 12U and some adult softball use. The frame is sturdy but can almost knock it over with weighted balls.Overall happy with the purchase.

Great net, have the first edition and the pro
Great net, have the first edition and the pro. Hope the pro lasts as long as the original has. I keep the net attached on the pro and it sets up quick, folds with the base. Bag is the upgraded canvas, still could be an inch or so longer or have it unzip over the end to make put up easier, had to replace the original bag on the regular one after a season and a half. Heavier than the original so not as many wind issues though I did seal the end caps of the cheaper one and filled with sand so I don’t have as many issues with that one either. All in all, a great net at a great price!

The net is strong
So far the net has held up well to hitting drills. I even use it in place of a first baseman for groundball drills. The pocket is quite big and the balls don't bounce out of them. It dissipates energy well so it doesn't need to be held down by weights however, on a very gusty day this will blow over so you will need some sandbags or something heavy. The kit comes with some spikes to hold the base legs into the ground but those don't work very well, you really need something heavy. The instructions for putting the net together - i don't use them. I find it easier to do it another way rather than the recommended way but that's up to your preference. Setup is quick. With a partner it should take you about 2 minutes. I think the price is appropriate
