I liked how the top locks in two ways. The first lock is simply by twisting the top and the second is by the two side pieces that snap into place. The handle on the top is a great idea so if you are carrying other items or having a child helping you the carrying handle ensures it won't be dropped. When you put a pie into the container warm there are vents on the top for cooling that can be easily opened and closed. I also appreciate that they left sufficient space in the container so one can easily lift the pie or cake out of the container without damaging your treasured dessert.

Very sturdy from top to bottom and very easy to clean. Love the simplicity of only having to turn the lid (using the handle if you like) to close it and the lock takes care of the rest with no worry about it coming open during travel. So far I've only had to carry refrigerated pies and I loved how there was enough room all around my pie plate to add ice cube-filled plastic bags to keep my pies cool during travel. I have a sister and a niece that were so impressed with it they have already purchased their own. This would make a good gift for that baker in your family or friends!
