Lost the original charger - bought this one as a replacement. Charger works fine with my original batteries as well as the new one.The new battery that came with the charger is slightly shorter than the originals ( maybe 1/16 inch). It does not make contact with the camera terminals unless I put a shim between it and the battery cover - not a big deal. Note: My Canon Powershot is about 10 years old.

For less than the price of a branded battery, I got a charger & another battery. Works well with factory battery and the Kastar battery works well too.

These battery packs are always the best. Great quality and it’s at a good price.

First order was a dud but the replacement works as expected.
