It is very greasy

This is an excellent product and I use it every time before I get on my bike trainer. It helps me to sweat a lot and it actually doesn't feel as greasy afterwards as I thought it would. The product seems to just melt and glide as soon as it is applied to the skin as opposed to other petroleum based products that I've used, like Vaseline. Surprisingly, I've noticed that the pores on my face and the small wrinkles around my eyes have actually become smaller or disappeared when I used it on my face so now I try to apply it to my face and around my eyes as often as I can. I'm reviewing this product after 9 months of continuous use because a few weeks ago someone guessed my age as like 7 years younger! I've never had that happen to me before! Usually when people guess my age, it's spot on (or, sadly, older) so to hear it now all I could guess is that it must be Albolene. I didn't tell anyone that because what if I'm wrong and it may not work for them? Everyone has a different blood type and body chemistry (hence why food and drugs affect people differently) and it could be just one of those products that fits my blood type and chemistry...and it's making me younger looking! Thank god for that! In any case, I really love this product so overall, I definitely highly recommend it and would stock up on it if I could. I give it a solid 5.0/5.0. -08/31/2014

I've been using Albolene for over 30 years. My dermatologist recommended it as a non-drying face cleanser. It would liquefy as soon as it touched skin, but it wasn't drippy.It has never failed to clean thoroughly, and it leaves skin moisturized. It's great at removing makeup, even stubborn mascara, although it may take more than one application.I started using this when I was young, because I have a skin condition I had to be mindful of. All these years later I'm still using it and have pretty good looking skin for my age. I think the formula has changed somewhat, as the product doesn't liquefy so quickly as it used to, but it still does the job.The only other moisturizer I use is Oil of Olay with SPF protection. I've been using that for over 30 years as well, although initially it didn't have SPF. Glad they have it now.I've never used any kind of expensive department store face lotions or creams. I never had to. Albolene and Oil of Olay have been perfectly fine, and they don't cost an arm and a leg.

Albolene works great with a nice waist cincher during your workout. It really does make you sweat a ton and you only need a small amount.Pros: Easy to apply, only requires a tiny amount so this size will last more than one year even if applied daily and it makes you sweat up a storm in the area you apply and wrap to. I use the Albolene directly on my skin with my wrap over it (I have the Everlast adjustable wrap), and don't use any plastic wrap at all. Plastic wrap is horrible because it collects sweat like crazy and has you walking around like a waterfall, plus it constantly rolls up and is useless. My Everlast holds everything in very well until my workout is complete. I also recommend removing your wrap in a shower or tub! Yes, there will be that much sweat! LolCons: This texture is almost like vasoline so it's hell to get off of your hands if you apply it without gloves on. I used warm water and a small amount of makeup remover by Neutrogena to get it off. Hahaha I have since purchased gloves from the dollar store and only need one to apply each time to reduce the fuss of greasy hands during my workout.

I swear by Albolene when it comes to working out. I put the moisturizing cleanser all over my body and I GO HARD! When my workout is complete, my clothes are soaked. This product has helped me easily loose 20lbs. This will always be my go to product when trying to get the weight off.I thought I would add that this product has my skin feeling like a baby's bottom. It is awesome. I use it on my face as well and I've even shed water weight from my face. Everyone is telling me that it is obvious I've lost weight. I am very happy with this product!
