ELEMIS Papaya Enzyme Peel Cream Exfoliator 50 ml

This enzyme mask I first tried when I was travelling in Europe, and bought from an airport in France duty-free. I found it really hard to track down in Sydney and in stores, but the formulation is amazing for skin when travelling, as the enzyme helps break down skin cells that have built up when you have been travelling and on and off flights through busy airports. Its great for weekly use regardless of travel. I was so happy I found a genuine product on Amazon for a good price.

I was a bit wary of this when it was recommended to me because I thought something called a peel would be sticky or harsh. In fact, it's a beautiful creamy texture which feels like it gently clears the skin. I have super-sensitive skin, but this has not irritated or dried my face, just left it feeling soft, and looking smooth and healthy. I will definitely be using this for a long time!

On a cruise line, this was the facial exfoliator they used. Was told that sugar scrubs are abrasive. If you look under a microscope, sugar crystals are jagged and are tearing at your skin cells on your face when you use those. Using this enzyme peel, makes it so that the dead skin cells are gently being "eaten" away. Smells wonderful, makes my skin so soft and glowy after using. In winter, I get dry patches of skin on my face and this along with the lavender toner helped to eliminate that problem.
