I live in a neighborhood where a typical laptop wireless will see 1 - 2 connections from my neighbors. To put it in perspective, when I attach this usb wireless, with the large antennas, I had 17 different wifi spots I could connect to. Including my friends on the street behind me. Plug and play, easy drivers, great utility. 2 antennas, it's an excellent product! (also for anyone who cares, this is great for backtrack and Kali, easy de auth, great range, functions well even at low connection)

This alfa antenna has worked well for Linux use as well as for regular surfing and work on windows 10. However, this network adapter will work with Linux but as a windows 10 host machine I was required to setup my linux virtual box as a NAT network setting instead of bridged network setting. Upon then I set USB to 3.0. I also set a usb filter.I clicked add new and chose the default one that came up for my adapter. I started up linux. After I proceeded to start up linux, I plugged in my adapter and everything is auto configured to work. Everything from forums to help websites could not solve this problem for me and I almost gave up. After messing around for 3 days I got the adapter to work with both machines but not simultaneously. The network card will work for whichever machine you have started up when you plug it in. I.E. if you start up your computer then plug it in you will be working with it on windows 10 and not linux. If you go in and start up linux before you plug it in it will configure to work with Linux automatically. Other than this problem listed above the card has given me a great network connection while also supporting monitor mode with packet injection with both machines.
