Different color, same thing
Except for the color of the capsules and the price, these are exactly the same thing as the " name" brand. Extended release, twenty mg, 42 could t. I am so very happy that I found out that there is a generic of this drug. Most highly recommend!!!!

👍Works the same💁♀️why i use as lil as possible..
... nowadays people live on these, and yrs ago i was told i had barrett's esophagus and would be on dbl rx ppi forever..Well after the initial scare they put in me, i started thinkin.." i dont know anyone who's taken these indefinitely ".. so i researched what i could and took myself off( oh and btw 10 yrs later they decided i didnt actually have that 😤)..This is what i found..💁♀️ most people actually make too lil acid too late, like flooding an engine, instead ofHandlin the food right away, they get the acid goin lil late and then the foods part digested w a pile of acid on top, so why acid reducers? Its an easier quick fix than workin with diet and supplements💁♀️ there are serious side effects to these..long long list of them as well as an increase risk of heart attack and stroke( they said 30% increase wasnt enough to black box warning it)💁♀️ stomach acid is necessary to digest food! AND it kills bad guys like c difAnd food bacteria ( this is why 2 people can eat something and only 1 get food poisoning)💁♀️ i was a silent reflux but had ulcerated a spot in the ole esoph.. thats how i ended up on ppi.. so after a yr i tried to cut back..Well then i discovered the joy of REBOUND Acid.. Great, NOW i had symptoms.. so this is the prob w that..Much like anxiety meds.. when you have suppressed something..when you stop, you feel twice as bad, now if you can hang n get past it, you'll do ok, but its really hard to do....so i had to empty 1/3 of my caps out, then a half etc.. to create stepdown doses..Took awhile, but more comfortable way to do it..So now we take acv with food and a bakin soda pill daily on an empty stomach.. try toEat more alkaline, take our magnesium glycinate and drink our high potassium carrot juice..So why on earth would i keep this around?Well, bc i like ☕ coffee, 🍫chocolate, 🧀cheese, 🍸vodka, 🌶hot pepper, vinegar etc.. then i sometimes eat these late, and fall asleep flat.. and esp in the year of the rona, we've done a lot of that..SO BC IM AN IDIOT, I NEED A PERIODIC ACID VACA 🏖 SO I USE THESE FOR 3 OR 4 DAYS, WHILE I REGROUP..Works great, good price, i like the freshnessOf 3 bottles, but really, they could be tiny bottles or push foils..👍 good stuff👍 good price👍 keep on hand🤚💁♀️think before you live on it🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

"Say yes to the generics and NO to 'fire chest'"...
I have had GERD for over 17 years and have mostly had it under control. I have tried many OTC's over the years and recently have started using these PPI's again after a rough period last summer. I tried another generic of this drug once and had good results so I figured I would try this generic also and see if I could add it to my "go-to" options when needed. Sure enough, I switched to this and maintained the same diet and it didn't miss a beat. I was able to drink my half-caf hot coffee and half-caf cold brew without any issues. Additionally, I could consume a glass or two of red wine OR a maple bourbon whiskey. Life is good in Cali once again...I like that these come in 3 individual bottles versus the foil push tabs that some other PPI's utilize. Last year I was taking 2 pills per day of most of these drugs. Now I am down to 1 pill. We'll see if I can get back to lighter meds or no meds but my new GASTROC doc believes if I need them to keep my symptoms at bay then so be it.

As effective as brand name, at much lower cost
This generic Nexium is identical in ingredients as the name brand. It works just as well at a much lower cost. The capsules are small and easily swallowed, with no after taste or stomach impact (other than reduced acid production). I have had GERD for about 20 years now (including a nissan fundiplication due to a hietal hernia. I was able to go off all acid-reducers for about 15 years, but reflux has been occurring again over the last 5. I try to alternate between (generic) omeprazole and esomeprazole in an effort to prolong the efficacy of both. Fortunately I don’t have to take acid reducers daily but they are lifesavers when needed. I have found that a binge on spicy foods (my weakness!) usually triggers the need. History has shown that I just can’t give up those spicy foods, so these little pills are necessary. Good product and great value. Hope this is helpful!

They work fine- easy to take, works great
These are the same strength and active medication in the brand name, but price comparison will often show that these cost much less. They are small pills in a delayed-release formula. I will say that if you get a generic, it's a good idea to get a delayed-release formula because I got one that wasn't, and it made me throw up. These don't. I tolerate them well. They are small pills that come in bottles of 14. I like that they come in 3 bottles because I like to keep one in the kitchen, one in the bedroom and one at my work desk. These are made in India. I have taken meds from India several times for 3 years now and have saved a ton with no problems. It's one of the countries I personally trust. I am glad to have alternatives to the big name brand in this medicine because it works so well for me, but I'm on a limited budget 1 pill takes care of me for 3-4 days.
