What is the difference between this and the spray? Specifically looking for best product to use for NES games and 72 pin connector.

To me the main advantage of the spray is more accessibility and the 'flushing' benefit. The brush and needle applicators have a stronger solution 100 vs 5; flushing can be accomplished with compressed air when practical and a proper safety I.Q. I try to use a transfer applicator to minimize cross-contamination; often toothpicks. Great product; but not idiot proof.

Can I use this to clean the charging port of my iPhone?

Absolutely!! I have used this liquid to clean my ham radio, flashlights, clock battery holders - its uses are unlimited.

Can this be used on larger appliances? I see most people are using it on pc's and sound equipment.

The size wouldn't matter. All you are applying it to is electrical contacts, so yes it can be used on any size contact ... I've known of a chap that used it to clean the contacts on his electric meter coming into his house. That's 220 VAC @ 200 amps. Pretty big stuff.
