Lego Gungan Sub - Star Wars 7161

I Purchased a new sealed set form Chowren Toys LLC's. It came in decent shape for a 1999 set. I bought this for a collector set than anything. I prefer the newer version but I want them all. :) I did not open the box so I can't say if all the pieces are there.Please see images for box quality.

My grandson was thrilled with this. It was a present for his 6th birthday all the pieces were there

My 8 year old son loves Star Wars Lego; great gift as usual. I would recommend this toy for any SW Lego Fan.

Build: There were some pretty confusing steps in these constructions, however after a couple minutes of adjusting my eyes I figured it out. This one may have been the most difficult set, at least from 1999.Playability: This one is great to play with because it comes apart in three pieces (not like the movie) and there is a small underwater scene included. I also love that the fins spin and keeps pretty similar the movie.Value: This one was a great value for the original price and if you can find it for under $45.Recommendation: I would recommend this one for both collectors and non-collectors, it has great playability and if you can find it for the above listed price, even better.

This is a great set that comes with Qui Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Jar Jar Binks. It also includes the ship and some sort of reef.

Hello,as you may know,this is the Gungan Sub(The Bongo) from episode 1.This is another good set to your collection.There`s not really any special features to this set like flicking missle or switches.But there are included features.The minifigures are:Obi-Wan Kenobi(old look,padawan,hood,cape)Qui-Gon Jinn(old look,cape)Jar Jar BinksHere are the 'features':Cockpits(remove wind shield)separatd into three cockpitsMini ocean rock or cave set,w/manta rayPros:nothingCons:nothingOverall:Almost as good as the Republic Cruiser(Awesome).Side Note:The set includes the jedi`s lightsabers even though they drive a sub.

This set has some pretty cool unique pieces and even though I'm not enthrawled with the over all desing, I still enjoy this set. It is set up differently from the movie as the characters have their own individual "cockpit". Hmmmmmm, I've tried to figure out why they decided that. It pulls apart to construct a mini-getaway-sub.....but wasn't the whole thing a get-away sub? Oh well, it got some cool pieces and I think it looks goods. It also has a stingray fish too! Good for the avid Star Wars collector.
