The udon noodles have more texture than the tagliatelle like rice noodles and a few more calories so these are a bit more of a meal. Would like to see a chilli version.

I find these very convenient to make if you are in a hurry, and they can also be added to if you would like something more substantial. I like to add various chopped cooked vegetables to make a more filling dish, but for a light lunch on the go it is perfect on it's own. It definitely does not taste like chicken though, to me it is very similar to the satay flavour.

This instant udon cup noodle is pretty awesome. When I get sick and no energy to prepare anything, I quite like this with itsu tempura prawns ( frozen and prepared with oven .) The noodles are thick and nice. The soup is spicy with ginger to warm up my body . It is easy to prepare and filling. For the price, time and taste, this is a great hit . I normally avoid instant noodles due to the e numbers and nasty chemicals but this noodle is already prepared one and kept in the air vacuumed bag. It has a fish base , but thanks to the spiky spices , I can accept the soup . Not boring and stimulating. Added sprinkle of sesames and sesame oil over to this, it gets really enjoyable. I first tried one and now bought four !

Like noodles in a pot? These maybe the noodles you are looking for...This is the Itsu Store Mega Miso Vegan Protein Noodles...i know it is listed as Sesame Chicken, they sent the wrong product. You get 6 x 63g of noodles.Making these is a bit more tricky than usual, first you need to unwrap noodles put in pot and add water. Wait 5 mins then add sauce and stir.The noodles are fatter and taste fresher than the more common brand of noodles that come in pots...they come in at 186 kcals per cup and that shows. The noodles are lovely fresh tasting but the sauce is runny and bland.Such a shame, as I can't really pin on the taste besides like vege stock?Good if you are on a diet or protein plan, but not if you just want a snack or a quick meal replacement.Can only recommend if you are on a controlled diet and taste comes secondary.

These noodles nail it with the flavouring packet. The miso flavour is there and if you use only the water indicated gets a nice consistency. The main thing is to leave longer than 5 minutes if not the noodles dont get soft enough. After saying this is important to note that the noodles are not your regular noodles, they are high protein and not soft and mild as your regular noodles. They are a bit chewy which doesnt feel great. I think that's why I would give them only 3.5 stars because is a bit chewy and is a weird consistency. But besides that the flavour is good and is a good size so cant complain. The nutritional info is great. Overall happy with the product.

I use to buy the old Udon pots from the grocery store. itsu have done a great job with this new flavour!!
