Best in its price range
Great product. Laser sharp images, high lumens to support quality projection with ambient light. Speaker power is powerful enough for outdoor movie experiences. Don't be fooled by the handle, it is not a rechargeable cordless projector. Direct current required at all times.

Do not buy this. 0 stars
This is a terrible product with absolutely astonishing customer service. My device is defective. They took it back, engineers said there’s nothing wrong with it after they factory reset it. I get it back. Same issues. They refuse to acknowledge its defective and offered a partial refund. Thanks but no thanks. The device was never reset like they said I got it back and all my apps were still logged in. Worst support. Worst product. Stay away

Good and Bad
Terrific product but you will get stuck when the lens/ bulb needs replacing since ANKER does not provide any after sales service. Retail shops do not touch the product unless it is in warranty and hence this is not value for money.

Buzzing noises, probably a defected unit
After using the laser projector for a few hours, I began experiencing loud buzzing noises which randomly intensified over time. On a positive note, the projector's brightness is sufficient for daytime use in rooms not directly affected by sunlight. However, due to the lack of responsiveness from customer support, I initiated the return process. I contacted the seller of this item, and I was pleased with their high level of cooperation in addressing and resolving the issues. I highly recommend this seller due to the exceptional manners and professional approach displayed by their support team when dealing with any concerns.

Good product
very good. put it on the ceiling inverted. self adjust is awesome. Volume can't be adjusted when connected to the home theatre is a bit of an issue. need to keep two remotes. overall good. had good inbuild speakers. not used outside. inside and daytime use is decent

Great piece of hardware with a cheap Android TV OS
Nebula Cosmos Max is a great device; high definition, 4K, extremely bright (you don’t need to close those curtains in morning while watching your favorite morning show) and it’s fast. I love the shape of it, the hardware specs that it offers and the output that it presents. The downside and I’d say a big downside is it harbors Android TV OS 9, which is a big disappointment. It comes with so many deficiencies that I nearly returned it. It doesn’t even have its own native Netflix or Disney plus app. It doesn’t have Apple AirPlay compatibility, and you cannot install Apple TV app in there. Casual gaming output is okay but it cannot keep up with the high end games on PS5.

This is a transformative cinema experience for the home. The projector is bright enough for daytime viewing (slight washout on brighter scenes) but in a room with no direct sunlight or a dark room the picture really comes to life. Due to the laser technology, colour accuracy is very impressive and rivals my parents LG C1 OLED display. I run a 100-in projected image which looks fantastic with HDR content. The sound system is very good although not quite at the level of a Dolby Atmos solution. But more than sufficient for average viewer with good multi-directional sound rich mid to high end and some low end frequencies. This will not replace a dedicated soundbar but is still decent. It could do with a bit more top-end volume however there is no distortion even at the highest volume setting. Android TV 10.0 is brilliant as is the nebula app which allows you to control the projector directly from your mobile phone. This is the best portable laser all-in-one smart solution on the market aside from the 4K variant. I could not justify the extra 900 pounds price tag. I got this on sale for 900 pounds - and as my wife puts in 'this product meets all expectations'. As you can see she is a woman of few words and she keeps to the facts!

This was my first projector purchase but I did extensive research and visits / demos with AV specialists prior to purchase. The Nebula 4K max is fantastic with simple set up/auto focus, high quality video and sound at a relative affordable price compared to separates. I have managed to get virgin tv , sky sports, bt sport, amazon prime, Netflix, apple tv, disney+, all working via STB or using Android tv on the projector and the nifty NEBULA manager app on my phone . To balance the review I would say that the projector struggles to deliver in high bright sunlight so you need blackout to maintain a great image but if you know this prior to purchase you will not be disappointed and the price point makes this high quality product very compelling. Last but not least, the post sale customer support is exceptional. I had trouble getting my blue-ray dvd player to work with the Nebula 4K max and the tech support team really went above and beyond to help me find a solution to the compatibility problem. They were first class. Huge recommendation from me! thank you Anker!

I wasn't one of the crowdfunding investors, but couldn't afford the full price so waited to buy during Black Friday discounts. I read the previous reviews about issues (won't repeat here) that have been fixed - read those reviews and note how quickly after release they updated firmware. Initial connection to my WiFi was troublesome which meant that I couldn't get the latest updates, but succeeded after some hints and tips from a VERY responsive Anker Cosmos help desk , even though the problems were with my router and not the projector. I'm not a home Cinema enthusiast, but the picture from this projector blew me away - able to see and use in a daylit/overcast day at just over 100" picture size, but of course the picture really 'pops' if you draw the curtains/use after dusk, at sizes above 100". All this on a suitable wall, not a proper screen. The sound is very good and can fill a room without distortion. The online manual doesn't have the latest functions listed, so if you don't see functions that you'd expect then ask the Anker help desk. I think they've added the 'use as a Bluetooth speaker' mode and individual adjustment of saturation/contrast/sharpness/brightness individually (these become available AFTER you start playing a video/HDMI connects). Fan noise is very low (after the projector adjusts the speed after initial switch on) not absent, but I didn't find it at all distracting. I think the update may have tweaked the fan speed down a little but can't be absolutely sure; the projector does a good job of modulating the fan speed. The help desk were very responsive - even chasing me for an update after a weekend of tinkering and experimenting! It's this that gives me the confidence that they listen to their customers and will continue to tweak/improve based on feed back. All in all I love the picture (native 1080P) and the sound. Personally I prefer to place it in the front and centre to maximise that gorgeous picture and minimise use of the digital H&V keystone (there is a greyscale halo which becomes more obvious as you increase keystoning). I have successfully used it off an old tripod, but now I just have to work out where to permanently install it!

I got this for £500 in the Black Friday sale and it seems like a bargain. I also bought a high quality screen to go with it which does help (I tried it on a wall and it was good, but notably better on a proper screen). The image is Full HD and is very good to my eyes. My screen is 106inch and it looks great, very clear and minimal lag or blurring. I have the projector mounted on an old tripod and it does take a little fiddling to get it exactly level and fitted to the screen etc but nothing too excessive. I haven't explored all the settings yet but it is already v good and we have really enjoyed watching some films and shows on it and the kids love playing their Nintendo Switch on it too. Brightness is good, it is bright enough for a reasonable experience in a room in daylight with curtains/blinds closed but the darker you can make the room the better. In full daylight you can see the image but it is washed out and far from ideal, it is watchable though and I may well give it a go in summer to watch sport outdoors (I'll try and remember to report back how this goes). The sound from the onboard speakers is surprisingly good considering the price point. It is plenty loud enough for a good sized room but lacks bass and quality compared to a good quality speaker set up. I haven't yet felt the need to connect to a separate speaker, but probably would if seeking a really cinema like experience. Overall this is a really impressive bit of kit, especially at the discounted price point. I considered many other options but anything notably better (4k and/or lots more lumens) was often three times (or more) the (discounted) price and others in the Anker range seemed inferior (Mars II etc). If portability is important for you then the version with the battery will be highly portable as it is fairly small and light and would easily fit into a rucksack or even a supermarket carrier bag. As an entry into projectors for home cinema and sport watching only someone with unrealistic expectations (at this price point) could be disappointed.
