Really Great High-Quality Yeast
Really great high-quality yeast. You only need to use a tiny amount (or what-ever is recommended for your set-up). Be sure to note the whole packet can do 6 GALLONS so only tiny amounts are needed for small batches.

Makes an adequate cider, but excessive sulfur production that takes weeks to dissipate.
Not the best and not the worst. It makes for a crisp, dry cider that is light on body. Acidity and tartness is accentuated. There's a fair bit of sulfur released near the end of fermentation and dealing with that is a matter of time. It slows the process down from what could be 4 weeks to 6 or 8 weeks. I have used Noveau / rose style wine yeasts before with much better success. S-04 or Nottingham makes a comparable cider in less time. I've tried this yeast in the Mangrove Jack Perry kit and also using my own juice and both times noticed profound sulfur production. It was not a one-time matter. This is maybe a second or third tier yeast for cider.

Excellent cider yeast.
Very active--works within 24 hours. This yeast ferments to make fairly dry cider, with rich, smooth esters, better than champagne strains. Highly recommended.

Excellent taste!!
Used in my first homemade batch of hard cider, for my first ever time using this it seemed perfect and price was good!!

SLOW, but tasty.
This is definitely not the fastest yeast. In fact it's the slowest I've ever used by a pretty large margin. The end result is delicious if you have the patience though.

Great yeast, great flavour profile
Just finished a 22ltr cider brew with this yeast. It consisted of 14ltrs of pressed apple juice from my trees and 8ltrs of apple juice from Te$(0. I got a 7.8abv . This is my normal go to yeast and it always gives a great flavour profile to the brew. It gives a good fermentation and settles well in the bucket. I tried a different yeast in an earlier batch which didn't start fermentation so I had to pitch another packet of yeast after two weeks. I have never had that with this yeast. I would recommend it to others to purchase.

Cider yeast !
Looks and smells good. I won’t know how well it works for some time yet. But others have had good results. Four stars for now! JC

Works well
I have used this to make apple cider. Obviously it will be some time before I can taste the cider but I can report that it is bubbling away creating a good fermentation

Not worth the effort
The cider wasn’t good - whether that was the yeast or in the brewing, we won’t know. Don’t think we would bother again.
