Q: I need to know how many ounces (aprox) I need to fill up a cushion for a bench 52 x 16 inches. Thank you.

If you are looking for a firm cushion this is NOT the fill you should be using. This is extremely soft and not meant for weight bearing. You will literally feel bench through it even if you use ten bags. I would recommend using something more suitable for cushions and perhaps a foam lining to avoid lumps.

Q: Will this work for Bucilla Stockings?

I don't see why not. It's basic fluffy padding. I used mine to help stuff up my pillows.

Q: Will this work as a down alternative for stuffing a comforter? I am looking for something light and fluffy, like Primaloft.

It would but this is loose and fluffy rather than in the flat padding/batting usually used for quilting. The same company does make batting of the same fiber which is available here at Amazon. You may want to check that out before deciding.
