Updated Review: These are a bust
UPDATE: We have several different brands of these and have been satisfied except for the flashing blue light, so these seemed like a great deal. Unfortunately, we discovered that the sound on the recording breaks up continuously and you really can't follow full sentences without gaps. I am SO DISAPPOINTED! Original Review: We have purchased many of these USB Recorders over time, but it has been a bit of a problem trying to obscure the flashing blue light when recording doctor visits in particular. The fact that these do not flash is a welcome change. My husband has some temporary short-term memory issues and we like to record everything we can in order to help him remember. We just love these recorders.

Scam
The item arrived looking nothing as pictured, and without a usb-c adaptor. The packaging says it's only compatible with Windows 2000/98 or earlier. There was no light to indicate that it was charging. Hopefully it didn't intall anything malicious while i was testing it.

Does not last
I have had three recorders and they seem to last a while, then quit. I think I will go back to the tape recorder.

Did the job! Canโt ask for anything better.
I wish it had a charger but otherwise, itโs perfect. Especially for the price, I cannot ask for anything better. Simply placed in area of recording, voice activated picked up and recorded few hours. The only thing is that the voice activation is very sensitive so one time it recorded eight hours of trucks passing by the house. Place in area you know will not pick up too much outside noise if possible. Battery life is pretty good if voice activation does not pick up every little sound other than voice. Sound quality is surprisingly extremely loud and clear which explains its sensitivity. Picks up well. Very impressed with this little thing.
