Q: Will this work with daylight savings time?

As long as the brewer itself is set to 'standard' time -- yes, it works fine.

Q: This is $8.99 for 18 k cups at my local giant. i was shocked to see this more expensive on line at amazon. why is this more than my local grocer?

Your price wasn't a bad deal. Our only grocery store sells the 12 count for $8.99. I've never tried Eight O'clock coffee, but I was looking for a new coffee to try and this came up at 96 pods of The Original for an even $20 with free shipping, so I jumped on it before it changes. I hope it's at least decently drinkable.

Q: Are these plastic k cups bpa free?

Our specifications require that K-Cup®, Vue®, K-Mug™, and K-Carafe™ packs be constructed from plastic which does not contain BPA. Our specifications for all Keurig® hot system brewers currently being produced require that water-path materials are industry standard, do not utilize BPA in their formulation, and meet or exceed the Food & Drug Administration’s guidelines for product safety. We hope this information is helpful!

Q: Is eight o'clock coffee going out of business? hard to find in stores....

Don't know about going out of business, but it's available in several chain type groceries (including Walmart) here in Reno. The brand is currently owned by Tata Global Beverage Company, and I have seen nothing about discontinuing the line anywhere.
