Oxford Learner's German Dictionary

Not only a basic dictionary but a very helpful section at the beginning on how to get the most out of it with pages on grammar and syntax.

Good dictionary, really helpful and insightful. 4 Stars only because when learning the correct method of separable verbs, this book doesn't show them. Eg. Aufstehen is what you want to look for but this book split the word up - 'Auf' and then 'Stehen'. My tutor said this isn't the best way of learning German verbs. I'm new to this method, but thought it best to highlight this to new buyers. I have since bought the Oxford Duden DIctionary from Amazon. It is the top rated for German dictionaries. Otherwise, this book is very good, very useful and was delivered fast and well packaged.
