I wanted to go plastic free and natural on shampoo. After much search I found this soap and I wanted to try it . I was amazed by the outcome , My Hairfall was drastically reduced . I used to lose hair in chunks , this soap came as a saviour.First use , you will feel a bit weird , you will get used to it in the second wash .Pleasant smell

This was #11 out of...maybe fourteen or fifteen shampoo bars I've tried so far. It's my favorite, by a long, long mile. Here are the reasons why: 1. It is not a castile or oil bar, it is actually a syndet bar, so it actually cleans your hair, especially important if you have hard water. 2. It's solid, and doesn't threaten to crumble like a lot of the really popular brands. 3. The smell is intense, yes, but it doesn't overpower once you've rinsed. 4. It's not drying, like some of the puck-looking varieties. Yes, you need a conditioner after, but don't you usually need one anyway? 5. The heart shape is actually really easy to grip - it's the only one I haven't dropped by accident! 6. It really lathers; protip: don't try to lather up your hands, then transfer to your head and expect that to work. Run the bar directly through your hair and work it up that way.There are only four things that would make this better, and I'm writing this for you, Unilever, in case you are listening. 1. MAKE ONE WITH PYRITHIONE ZINC PLEASE for us flaky people. 2. For the love of Pete, can you please send us a matching conditioner bar? One formulated for dry ends? We're dying here. 3. Can you please make a sustainable drainer box, kind of like the Kiwis do? We really want them. 4. Your packaging isn't compostable. I know you know better, and I know you have the muscle to do better. Please make it so.

Smells nice and floral, and lathers okay but it leaves hair feeling thick, stiff and oily. Feels similar to applying pure coconut oil and no amount of hot water rinsing gets rid of the residue left behind.

I'm giving this product 3 stars, in an attempt remain neutral. I did not even use it, but rather gave it away because I found the smell to be dreadful. Fragrance preference can be an individual thing and to be fair, I did not know what Murumuru Butter smells like when I purchased this bar but if the bar truly represents the smell of Murumuru, then I definitely DO NOT like the smell of this plant oil. It may be important to note that I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, and generally don't mind the smell of most cosmetic/hair products.

You try to find something new, but are left with the baggage of those two partial bottles in the shower, that you don't really want to use, but are too cheap to just throw out (just me??)Yeah....you won't get that with this.I have long, super straight, untreated hair, and have been using these Love Beauty and Planet shampoo bars for the past year and a half (with *no other products*). My hair (which hasn't seen a pair of scissors in over two years) has next to no split-ends and has more natural shine than ever...plus it smells amazing...soft, sweet roses, every time I wash my hair. What other relationship brings you flowers that often??Plus, no baggage...no plastic...no clutter...just a sweet smelling, unobtrusive bar, waiting for your next rendezvous. ;)

I've been doing a lot of trial and error with different shampoo bars and this is my favourite one so far. I have very long hair so the most challenging part of switching to a bar shampoo has been the amount of lather and the time it takes to get a good lather. This shampoo bar is hands down the best for lather and for getting my hair clean. It's not as moisturizing as some, but that's okay because I use a conditioner afterwards anyway. I was a bit worried about the scent when I first opened the box because it's very strong. But I don't notice much scent on my dried hair after washing. The bar itself is very hard and doesn't get gucky like some other shampoo bars I've tried, so it's lasting a very long time! Economical, environmental, and it works great! Highly recommend.
