Apple Barrel Acrylic Paint in Assorted Colors (2 oz), JA20588, Pumpkin Orange

The Nutmeg Brown paint 2 oz container was 3/4 full. It also was hard to open due to dried paint on the threads of the cover. The Jack-o-lantern (orange) was also 3/4 full. The bright yellow was full. The Crisp Green came from a different supplier (Blossom Row) instead of from Amazon and was nearly 14 times more expensive for the same brand and bottle size! BUT... it was the fullest 2 oz bottle of the six I ordered. The bright blue and bright red were about 3/4 full. My 8 year old granddaughter picked these to paint some small items for her dollhouse. I grumbled at her selection of Crisp Green due the the price difference.None of the paints were lumpy (as reported by others). None leaked in transit as reported by others (all had a shrink wrap on the flip open cover to keep them closed. I opened the cover by unscrewing and left the shrink wrap on the flip open part.I had some non-Apple Barrel brand water based acrylic white paint left over from prior painting of her doll house and it mixed well with the Apple Brand paints above.All the paints were matte finish and went on the small items I had to paint very smoothly. It did take a few coats to completely cover the tiny items.

I would have called it "whimsy orange sherbert" OK, it's a mouthful but I've never seen a mango that color, on the inside or outside. Mangoes are yellow, dark yellow with a tinge of orange but definitely none of the 400 varieties I grew up with on my island have that shade.All of that to say that it looks exactly as pictured and I have no complaints and Apple Barrel acrylics are pretty great and allow me to do crafts within my budget and I really liked the color.... some people.... keyboard activists and all.... leaving now....

It adds some depth to other, brighter oranges. I used it on a canvas, painting fall trees.

It looks great and the color is as described. Just takes a few coats more then expected to make something said color.

I use and love this paint all the time for my rocks and canvases. Good paint, easy to use and priced right.Just make sure you shake the bottle before using.

I love purchasing these samples to see the actual color before I do my complete project. So far the colors are perfect

I bought several colours from this seller and they all seemed to be a hit and miss. Some of them were good and others had an off consistency. The light green was one solid blob so I had to throw it out and others were thicker and chunky. Probably just safer buying them from the dollar store.

It’s a good product for little projects around the house!
