Make sure note the size. All space can't be utilised as in the bottom down there is bulge to accomodate the tyre on outside

Excellent case in every sense , it can be a carry on as the dimensions without the side and top protective protrusions fits the carry on limits, but it will depend on how strict the airline .. much better internal space than the Pelican 1510.

Would you expect anything less than amazing from a Pelican product? Bought this for checking video equipment on airplanes and after just 2 flights you can see what a massive beating the airlines give to luggage. The case perfectly protected our gear even though the case already has deep gashes and scratches. I know how hard it is to do serious damage to a Pelican case so the fact that our gear survived this treatment is a testament to how good these cases are.

In looking around I found Amazon to have some of the best prices on Pelican or Pelican/Storm cases. Owning several, they can't be beat for being rugged and traveling well, even with air travel baggage handlers. While the foam is nice for specific equipment as it can be molded to the cargo, the adjustable dividers are nice when your cargo may change. I'm comfortable transporting camera or electronics in the shaped foam but am concerned that the adjustable dividers can't seem to provide a snug fit so I reserve those cases for less sensitive items. I've never retired a Pelican case, but have out grown a few of the older ones. The only problem I've had is trying to decide on the best size.
