SimplyBlackberry Syrup, 250 ml

Omg, we added a tiny amount of this to areo hot chocolate, some squirty cream, sprinkle of a flake and some glazed cherries and it was OMG amazing, liquid black forest gateaux, it is supposed to be for Christmas but can't see it lasting that long lol 😂

Ok, lets get this out of the way first, there is an aftertaste to this, similar to sweeteners but as this is sugar free that makes perfect sense. It does not overpower the coffee (well not at the strength I drink it) and is very much sweeter than I was expecting, meaning that I use a smaller than recommended amount.The Hazelnut aroma and taste are strong and really just what I want from a syrup. The syrup itself is thinner in consistency than I was expecting but that does not seem to affect the taste in any way.As somebody on rather a strict diet at the moment this is perfect for me as there is no way I am giving up coffee (and believe me other people should be happy with that as me on caffeine withdrawal is not nice at all) and this syrup means I can still enjoy a tasty, flavoured coffee without adding many, many empty calories like I was before.If you are looking for something which tastes exactly like a full sugar syrup but without the sugar, you will not find it. Not with any syrup at all, just would not happen. This sugar free syrup gives a good taste without the sugar.

I usually buy 750ml from tkmaxx for £3.99 as they are not open I bought this instead, I use it for coffee and to add to plain fat free yoghurt, please note that only a small amount is required, anymore and the taste is too much, so in coffee I pour the tiniest amount you can add more to your own taste, in yoghurt i add more, 2 tsp, but overall this product is well worth the money for my needs.

Really disappointed with these sugar free syrups as I’ve now purchased different flavours months apart and on every occasion, the seal has been broken i.e. completely missing. Had to return them for a refund as I don’t think they’re safe for consumption: the tamper seal is there for a reason and the product photo shows a plastic seal clearly present and fully intact.

Couldn’t believe how big this was when i opened the package! you get a lot of this syrup for the money so i’m very happy with that.Rose is my favourite flavour so i was hoping for a lovely strong rose taste which this definitely provides. i have to add half the amount i expected as it’s so strong so it’s definitely going to last. it’s lovely with sparkling water alone or with a little bit of lemon.Only complaint is i think it’s a shame it doesn’t come in a glass bottle as it’s a lot of plastic to throw away.

I've become quite partial to vanilla syrup in my coffee, so know a good flavour from a bad one. This vanilla syrup is most certainly amongst the good ones. It's also really sweet, so you need no sugar or extra sweeteners in your coffee.I definitely recommend this. The flavour is amazing. This is now my favourite syrup.

It’s ok that’s about it. It’s very thin like water and it does have a hint of vanilla. Although it smells like there will be more. A bit of an aftertaste but I think that’s just par for the course with sweetener. It also comes in a strange pink pearlescent bottle. The normal sugar Simply syrups are really tasty. So I’m going back to them instead! If you only have one coffee a day like me. I’m not going to worry about whether my syrup is sugar free. Life is too short! 😂
