Is it waterproof or water soluble? Even the Daniel Smith website doesn't say anything about this very important feature...

It's not permanent ink. Even if dried for a day or two, water will dilute it and it will smear (on paper). Don't know how it behaves if spilled on clothing or carpet.

Can this be used in a brush pen?

Yes. It’s great for all types of drawing styles, and works beautifully with a dip pen, brush or brush pen.

Is this ink too thin for glass dip pens?

I have used it with a glass dip pen and it worked well for me.
