Not genuine Indonesian Komoda brand
This is not the genuine Komodo brand from Indonesia. It does not look or taste like the genuine Komodo brand from Indonesia. On closer look at the packaging, it says "Manufactured by "San Xuat Boi" and also distributed by the same company which I believed is from Vietnam. Packaging definitely not the same as pictured. Also, the chips were broken in pieces when I received. Item cannot be returned. Feels cheated.

These are some of the best I have had. Tasty, just right texture (dense and smooth but still light and very crunchy), and hold almost no oil at all.

Came broken in pieces but fries up well
So these came broken in pieces. I had considered returning it but honestly the small broken pieces fry up just as well - you just won't get a big giant cracker, that's all. These crackers puff up perfectly when deep fried in hot oil. Just like they were meant to. Good flavor and texture that makes you think, these are "shrimp crackers"! It definitely tastes better than the Thailand style ones with a lot of coloring dyes. I've also tried frying this without oil in the air fryer - doesn't puff up as much, but the taste is still there, and I only need to wait 2 minutes at 400F to enjoy the crackers. For what I could buy it at in the original country (Indonesia), I'd say the price is rather expensive. But hey, someone did a lot of work to import this so I could enjoy it delivered to me. It's alright to support a small business.
