Is this an after market item or actually dewalt

The one I recieved was Dewalt. Make sure it is DW745- that's the only one it fits. Tried it on my other models and it's only precision fit to that saw.

Does this fit the 8 1/4 table saw?

As long as the width of your adjustment rails is 21 3/4 from end to end in the same direction as your blade, it'll fit.

What is the exact length of the aluminum tubing?

18 and a hair under 7/8". 1X3X18-7/8" exact outside dims for rectangular aluminum fence body. Interesting question- I never need to replace the aluminum - just the clamp ends! Hope this helps.

I’m fairly certain that the extension arms would be a Dewalt repair website exclusive part. I don’t believe that it’s available on Amazon although, you can order lots of other parts here.
