If you want to pack a mirrorless camera and a medium lens in your everyday backpack, this is great! works well for camping too! The pockets allow me to separate my film, batteries, and 35mm camera. If they made a sturdier version with a flap for a top rather than a string close, I'd definitely buy it!

I had a military bag I was given. I was going to use foam to cut out spaces for my camera gear but the cost of foam is crazy for something of that size. I found these and bought 2 of them because it filled the bag almost perfectly. It fits all my gear and I still have space to buy more. It keeps everything safe. I’ve taken this on motorcycle rides, hikes, and just general adventures and never worried about anything breaking

Ended up going with this type of bag because I am a big backpack person. I have a full size swiss gear backpack that I take with me everywhere and this camera bag fits perfectly in the main pouch on top of my other stuff. The bag is easy to open if you leave the cinches loose for easy and quick access to your camera gear. If you need to get to other things in your bag, just lift this bag out in one easy motion.Re-arranging the bag using the included velcro-stick sections is quick and easy. That said, they aren't exactly 'secure' and easily come off with fairly little pressure, but doesn't just fall out without prompting. I keep my camera body in the left section, then two lenses in the the middle section, separated by a divider, then UV filters and microfiber cloths in one of the right sections and spare batteries, SD cards, chargers, and dongles in the other right section.The outer material kind of 'shrugs off' water, but doesn't repel it. The inside is very water absorbent padding, and the top definitely doesn't close to any level that could be considered water proof or even resistant. If you want something that's water proof or repellent, look elsewhere. Also, I think 'shockproof' is REALLY misleading. The case has thin padding around the perimeter and the dividers have a bit of padding, but there is very little on bottom, and none at all on top, so I definitely wouldn't call this a 'protective' case at all.

I am writing this review three months after making this purchase . After three months there is no signs of wear and tear even with heavy use. Everything being equal this product performs as good as the more expensive versions. The foam is just as thick there are the equal number of Velcro inserts to lay out the package you would like. It is not waterproof but neither is the more expensive version. anything that uses a pull to close the top is not waterproof never would be waterproof. This product is designed to be put inside of another bag, it allows you the freedom to turn whatever bag you are currently carrying into a camera bag that is its most amazing feature. When you consider the extreme disparity between the cost of this and the more expensive version there is not nearly enough difference to justify the price. overall I am happy with my purchase and I will tell you I own a more expensive version of this and I did try and return several other versions that were not this good. If you are a brand snob and feel that you need to pay more money for something just because it a brand-name have at it if you were looking for a high-quality product for a great price this is the camera bag insert you need.

Well, as you can see from my pics it’s not all that big or sturdy. If you have a DSLR, you won’t get a whole lot in this. And I have a small DSLR. It may hold 2 lens and a body. I think Amazon just failed on this bag. It’s made pretty cheaply. idk if you can see the bad stitching in the pics. It’s small for $20 andI expected a lot more value for my money. The Lens that is sticking up out of the bag is my 70-200mm which is the one lens I need to protect.Not worth the trouble of sending it back or I would.

Let’s be honest, Camera bags aren’t cute. This makes any bag into a camera bag! Every photographer needs this!

A really well constructed insert, fits into my Pacsafe backpack along with my IPad Pro 12.9, With plenty of space left to pack a lunch, or a snack and a light windbreaker, or other items you may need for your shoot. I can pack 1 camera, and 4 lens. The draw strings hold all the photo equipment in until needed. The padding is adequate to give you a lot of protection. Really recommend this bag.

Having seen many issues with it and amazon's 'commonly returned item' warning, I was cautious, but wanted to give this a shot. First impressions are wonderful. Sufficient padding for storage in a backpack with other tech. I wouldn't chuck it down a staircase but this is nylon, not a pelican case. Helps to mold to the shape of my EDC backpack with power kit, computer and tablet. may not be perfect, but first impressions are great.

It's perfect for what I need it for - a compartment, or at least a few extra dividers, to hold my microphone and extra batteries in my camera bag. This one was the exact size I needed to fit in that spot. So in that aspect it is perfect.However, as others have said, it is super flimsy. I probably wouldn't trust my camera in just this in a backpack.Also as others have said, the colour is terrible. No big deal I know, but why not just make it black, instead of a black that's been left in the sun for 10 years. Two of the four inserts aren't even the same colour as the inside. This does not really make any difference I know, but I'm sure I'm not alone in liking when thing look nice lol

A little disappointed in the quality tbh. Gets the job done but the material and components feel cheap. Not sure how long it will last.

I found the product far too flimsy to be useful; however, this might be a feature for some people who prefer a more flexible insert. The dividers were far too soft for my liking as well. I prefer something with more structure, but once again this is personal preference more than anything else.
