I bought my grand daughter a bird feeder and seed for her birthday last year and she has been thoroughly enjoying watching the birds feed from it as has her mum. While visiting she asked me what several of the birds were so I bought her this book so she could identify them herself. She really loved the book , sat reading it and has used it to identify birds in the garden. After receiving the book my grandson took an interest in the Geese and subsequently they went on a family outing with the book and some binoculars to a nearby lake to find some geese. Definitely worth the money. Lovely pictures and useful information.

An interesting little guide book, with beautifully coloured illustrations. Not too many birds listed so keeps it simple for children, but lists all the more common birds seen. Easy to understand information. Bought for a 5 year-old and should be useful for a few years yet.

Wonderful book brought for my 6 year old autistic daughter who is obsessed with owls. The pictures are beautiful, well drawn and a nice size as well as lovely facts about all the birds! The actual book is so well made and a really nice size, a little smaller than a5
