The morning my niece opened this before school as one of her birthday gifts, she insisted her Mama put it on her before she went to school. Success!! I was sure to let her Mom know that this is *not* real gold that is safe for showering or getting all wet. However because it is hypoallergenic and also due to the fact that she is pretty responsible with taking care of her jewelry, she has not had any problems with it turning her skin green or causing any skin irritations. Great gift for a 7-year-old still learning which colors, metals, etc are her favorite!

I ordered 3 of these to commemorate 3 loved ones, along with some extra charms bought separately, to add to make them into a single charm necklace. It would be great if you could put more than one disc on one chain for this particular product and customize it more without a big price increase. I really liked the care given to the packaging, which includes a little extra blank card and envelope for gift giving.

Can I give 10 Stars?! Anyone who gave this 1 star must be impossible to please. I gave this to my almost 3 year old to practice with. She has a real Portuguese gold name necklace she received for her baptism a few years ago. I’d love her to wear it but we have to make sure she knows it’s not a toy first. So I thought this would be a perfect way for her to show me when she’s ready for the real thing. I had no idea it was double sided. This is absolutely a 5 star necklace all day long.

This necklace was just right for a little lady. My 5 year old really like it. It was a good size for her and had an adjustable chain. It was also two sided with one side sparkling and the other side plain with just the initial.

When this arrives, be sure you look in the box. You have to get the necklace out of a plastic bag and put it on the card to make it look like this photo. I can’t wait for my granddaughter to wear hers for Christmas!

I looove this necklace. I bought my 2 year old daughter one (it’s a little long, but she loves it) and I love it so much that I bought one to match. We never take them off. We swim often, and bathe daily, and the finish has never messed up, and I’ve never noticed or been bothered by it in my sleep.
