I used these to replace the woofer in an older set of bookshelf speakers that didn't make much base and used lots of power (inefficient).These produced a much better low end and are tame until about 20 watts RMS, then they roar, well, they produce!The more important thing is that they add some depth to the music whether rock or soft classic.These are not terribly efficient but better than stock on a lot of small speaker boxes I've heard.Recommended

I bought this speaker as a replacement for my Phillips computer speakers. It had a powered subwoofer that blew and I didn't want to replace it with the original and have another issue down the line. After a lot of searching I found this one, and I have to say I am pleased with the results. It performs great, sounds nice and crisp, and does not distort. The range is also quite a bit lower than my original which makes me smile. And you can't beat the price. All in all I am very happy. The only complait I did have about it was the size of the magnet on the back. For my specific application it was a tad big but I made it work. I would definitely recommend it!

Not the best quality. Replaced my old worn out speakers with these. Think I may have blown one the first time I tried them.
