Good quality. The black pipe compliments our decorating style so we are over all pleased.Be mindful of the following:- Needs a little bit of expertise in making sure all the flanges line up and are level/plumb.- Even if/when you pre assemble tubing according to printed instructions, the shelving won't line up and some connection parts will have to be loosened to line up.- I consider us (me & the hubs) little above average when it comes to DIY but this took some figuring out and cooperation during installation because we decided to align the holes on the flanges up with our studs to enforce the holding strength (for weight of books and family photo albums/picture boxes). This choice was prompted by the poor quality of plastic drywall anchors included with the product.Now that I have installed one, I will customize next time with more height (to accommodate taller children's books that don't fit the current set up) and a bit deeper (to accommodate a 12 inch shelf/wood insert). Aesthetically, it will not accommodate a book taller than about 9 inches. Our photo albums range up to 15 inches and because the shelving depth from back wall to front of wood shelf is about 12 inches, it hangs over the front too much to look balanced.With the current set up, I'm limited with what can be placed on the shelves - size wise. While this does not have anything to do with the quality of the product, you may not know to consider these aspects in advance so thats why I include it in my review.

So great! Turned out just as we had imagined

Pipe came painted. Each piece was nicely wrapped in protective pouch so they would not scratch during shipping. Pipe shelving is not as heavy as "black" pipe you would purchase from a hardware store so its manageable to completly assemble and hang up on your own. Upon arrival check all pieces completely. One of the pipe sections was not threaded on one end and 2 of the flanges were warped slightly. I already knew they weren't but Boards for shelves are not included. I went to a box store and purchased 12"wx6'Lx3/4"thick pine, cut it half length wise. Then purchased one additional 10" wide x6' long board to make a total of 5 shelves. Also dont forget 3/4" pipe strap to secure the shelves. In all plan for another $70 to $80 for stain/paint, wood, straps and screws. With the extra cost its still far cheaper than purchasing true black pipe from the box store.

I brought 2 sets, this one and another that was 3 shelves vs 4. Both are from the same company but this one was a PAIN to set up. The pipes did not quite screw in all the way and the flanges did not always end up flush against the wall. It took alot of extra time to set this one up. Now that its all said and done it looks great.Ps when you go to home depot /lowes etc. Just look for your wood under shelving and be done with it.... We tried to get cheaper salvaged wood and it was not worth the extra hassle. Be mindful that each plank is about 10-20 extra to add to the budget~

Easy to put together...although I had to have someone hang them for me ..I got the boards 10" like it said & they fit just right..I used it for an extra pantry in laundry room so a lot of cans & heavy items on it ..we hang clothes from washer on the bottom..it doesn't move ...it's awesome looking & very well built..I've gotten lots of compliments on them.
